Porcello's good games are really good.
Miggy is .220
we have 4 guys hanging around .300
we've out stolen bases than our competition
Anibel was sailing along with a 1 hit shut out through six.....and just like that three doubles, due to some questionable outfield play, two replays against the home team and Sanchez is in the dugout and the Tigers are down 3-1. Maybe the tigers starters aren't ready to go 7 innings yet.
We should've had a lead by the 7th. We're getting squeezed again.
63 runs in 16 games. Not good. Good thing the starting pitching has been solid.
Any bets that Miggy still wins the MVP or at least the batting title this year? I am not sold yet either, but once his bat figures out where the ball is, he will return to form and the rest of the team mates will hopefully get hot too.
Miggy will heat up with the weather.
He hit three real shots last night. Soon they will start dropping in.
What's the 10 day weather forecast in tiger town? They need to stay ahead of the Royals....
He'll start hitting and the rest of the team will fade.
Must be warm tonight.
Tonight ............ 48 degrees with a 21 mph wind blowing out to left field.
The tiger bats erupt for 15 hits including 3 from Miggy and what looked like a nice win turned into a scare win Coke fizzled out again. I wish someone would find those pictures of Coke and Dumbrowski and destroy them. No lead is safe with this guy....time to ship him back to the farm or out to pasture.
Man is Coke terrible.
Joba gets a save with 1 out. Ha Ha, WSox can't hang with us.
Another seventh inning collapse by the pitching staff dooms the Tigers as they give up a GS after a walk...
Avila had a green light to with a 3-0 count and Hunter on deck... I know Brad is about being aggressive, but I may have taken it....even though it appeared to be a strike.
Sox have the 2-1 series advantage where it appeared we had a potential sweep in the making with Max on the hill tomorrow. The two blown games in the late innings and we could not come back and beat up their closers.
we better get them tomorrow.
Good outing by smyly. If he can sustain his effectiveness as a starter, that will be huge for us.
Max gets win 6-4 Miggy flipped the switch. 11-8 .571 win %
Max and Miggy combo looked good......but we still got bullpen issues that need to be worked out.
Lucky the rest of the central division is still trying to find their way and are in the midst of knocking off each other here in the early going.
