Yeah but at any given inning those numbers could explode in either direction.
But as Lee would say, "but hey glad they have those numbers under control.

I was really thinking Hernandez. I remember him as another one year wonder.

    .
I was listening to the game on the radio and we were up 3-0 at the point and on are way to winning the series...according to and the Sirius radio announcers Dan and Jim...I assume we had won game until my phone gave me ESPN update and I caught the end of the scroller which gave the loss the Joba Chamberland. I was at Staples center and I think the Clips were down 27-7 at the time so already it was starting to be a bad day.

How can we lose a series to the Twins???? I saw the highlights later with ball getting over the glove of the left fielder allowing the bases to clear....but why were they loaded with Twins in the first place.

If baseball ever decided to go only seven innings we would be about 30-3. We get a decent bullpen performance about once every three games. In fact I think if we scored about 6 runs a game we would be about 30-3

The length of baseball games is really ideal for the starter + reliever dynamic. They didn't know how good they made it back in the day.

Starting pitching so far this year:
61 earned runs in 207.1 innings. Combined ERA = 2.64

Porcello and Scherzer each with 5 wins already. Sanchez has given up only 8 runs in 5 starts and ba against is sub .200, but doesn't have a win yet. When he's back, look out.

Tigers' .647 win percentage is the highest in mlb. Run differential is just behind the A's. Easy schedule so far, but I'll take it.

Hunter is a classy dude. He totally let the ump off the hook for the touch and called himself out for his own behavior.

His leadership in the clubhouse is probably underestimated.

On Porcello's improved figures so far this year:

Four-run ninth to steal one at Camden. Superman (Cabrera) leads the way.

I would have walked Miggy and loaded up the bases if I was Showalter in the 9th.
