Two men on the ninth, one out......and the clutchless Tigers get foiled again coming up with nada. It's just another 2 runs or less outing.

At least the Royals finally lose. But I am going to hang with them until they are either eliminated in the regular season or the post season.

This influx of young pitchers got me thinking about THIS guy (worth watching the whole thing):

Hopefully he pitches better with twice as many boos.

Chicks dig the long ball.......Tigers first hit of the game comes in the 5th inning....a shot into the left field stands by JD... Tigers up 1-0

Meanwhile Max has fanned 11 thru 5 and is pitching well, but we need a couple more runs as max pc is already up to 80 in the sixth inning and the bullpen will probably handle the 9th.

He's doing his part. Some of our big hitters aren't (i.e. Miggy).

Max throws a SO thru 8 on 120 pitches and 14K's..3h and 2 BB ......It's up to the pen to do their job......they were good last night allowing no runs in four innings

heart of the tigers line up at bat i the 8th....could use a couple of insurance runs...................

Yaaaaayyy! JD Martinez and Castellanos come through!

Pirates intentionally walked V-Mart to get to Hunter, who promptly popped out and has 7 LOBs today. Might be time to move Hunter down in the order.

I think Brad does too, but Coke has some pictures of JL and Dombrowksi so, he has to play him.

    Thanks Torii

If we didn't score the insurance runs in the 8th, Nathan would have come in for the 9th and who knows how this may have ended.

I didn't get to see Buck Farmer yesterday. If he has a live arm, I wonder if it would make sense to have him try out some relief pitching. Hate to be auditioning people with only 43 games left in the season, but I don't have much confidence in anyone (except for Joba).
