I tuned in today hoping to see a Major League Baseball game. Only one team has shown up through 6 innings. I should have stuck to watching the LLWS.

It basically comes down to this...

KC is one game ahead of Tigers in loss column: 55 to 56
    Tigers have 40 games left, /KC 38
    Tigers play them 6 times
Tigers have to go 20-14 in the other 34 games if KC at a minimum goes 16-16
SO TIGERS take 4 of 6 vs KC and win division...

    if...........................

Royals just keep on winning. They are playing the best baseball in MLB right now. If anything, it should be an exciting finish.

Saw the stat in last night's game that the Tigers have 33 comeback victories this year, which is the 2nd most in baseball. Never would have guessed that.

9th inning and 5 RBIs for V-Mart. Cabrera walked to load the bases and V-Mart makes them pay. Yes! Complete game for Porcello. No. 14!

What a gem. Porcello leading (tied) the AL in shutouts with 3. Tied for most wins too.

A game like this could restore confidence. Saved the pen for a night as well.

Sidenote: Al Al has pitched 40+ innings this year so far with some outstanding results.

When the Tigers get into the playoffs, Al Al will be a go-to guy.

Poor David Price.....mows down the last 23 batters he faces striking out 9, walking none and giving up one hit....that knocked in the unearned run. But the Tigers offense is shut out leaving men on base again in a great performance by Cobb who struck out six Tigers....and benefited from a couple of defensive plays.

JD MARTINEZ' strikeout in the sixth, swinging at a 3-2 pitch in the dirt with one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd was brutal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MIGGY hit a rocket to left field in the 9th BUT since he has no LEGS , he had no LIFT!!!!

PRICE pitched one of the five best games in baseball this season!!! NOTHING!! its why WINS matter NOT in Cy Young voting!
