Could the Tigers make a move for Francisco Rodriguez?

We need a SS any ideas? Orlando Cabrera?

Any SP or RP who we can get? :stirthepot:

You know most guys that come to Detroit for any team, never really plays the way he/she did before. Orlando Cabrera is a great guy but I think he wouldn't want to play for us for some odd reason. But think about it, Miguel Cabrera was a great batter before he came to Detroit. I mean he got a couple of hits but nothing spectular; the same with Gary Sheffield. I felt the same about guys that have came to the Lions, Pistons, Tigers, Shock, and the Wings.

Cabrera actually set career highs in HR and RBI and he won the HR crown for the league.
Dombrowski already said that Tigers are highly unlikely to go after K-Rod. He'll probably look for a cheaper alternative.
There are many holes on this team that need to be filled. Dombrowski is going to have to earn his money this offseason, and make up for the Jurrjens deal.

This was just something that I was debating with friend and we had to look up the answer. I remember that Ruppert Jones HR and a bunch of the other one's.

How about Sweet Lou? That's a big hit for a 2nd baseman.

One other interesting fact that I didn't know. Lou's middle name was Rodman.
