The Tigers just signed a shortstop (Adam Everett) a month ago. Relief pitching is the next order of business (hopefully).

I'm aware of that but the SS they signed (Everett) isn't exactly all-star caliber. They need pitching of any sort. Starting, relief, closer......

Everett will improve the defense. With Inge, Everett, and Polanco, they will arguably have the best infield defense in baseball. Everett's bat is very weak.

Yeah. The Tigers infield, in my opinion, is definetely one of the best regarding defense in the league. The hitting struggled a bit last year, however, I think that they will do a good job this year.

I'm not sure Cabrera plays stellar D. I agree they will be good as long as he works a bit on his fielding.

Saw an interview with Inge last night and he stated "he is more motivated then ever". Hope that means he is hitting 1,000 fastballs and a 1,000 curveballs a day. Look where those numbers got Rip with jumpers per day.
