Yep, you're right... Monroe's RISP average is .207 and his RISP with 2 outs is a miserable .178. On the year he is hitting .246 with 13 HR. And because of the bad average with Monroe's RISP, he's only batted in 44 RBI'S. He's been hit with the injury bug lately, so hopefully today was a good sign that he's getting back to normal...
Thanks ggazoo I was just a lad of 13 back then, but I remember this big classic voice blaring out of my little transitor radio as if it were yesterday.....
You might consider opening up chat for the playoffs, Roscoe. Just a suggestion. I can't stand the Tigers forum on detnews. Unless you say glowing things in every post, you're ridiculed. No constructive criticism is allowed at all.
I would be into that. If you guys want the chat open for an event or game, just PM me. If you have a schedule of dates and times, that would help me set it up in advance. And if you want it open on demand, PM an online staff member. They should all know how to do it. Instructions are in the staff resource forum.
Tigers win 2-1 against the sox, all thanks to Thames taking out the 2nd basemen... And more importantly the tigers take the series!
Go get em' Tigers! 2-1 http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/recap;_ylt=AoRrvHuz1m36hx5xqnFKmAoRvLYF?gid=260720106
I like that -1 analogy. When we see something on TV and I tell my sons when that happen they alway say hey dad I was -5 then or negative 7...so stop trying to remind me of things happen in the past... Anyway those 67 tigers were about as exciting as the champs in 68, we just came up short to the Bosox by the thin hair growin on my 12 year old face at the time...
