I am willing to bet that Grant Hill coming off the bench running the point instead of Hunter or Murray would have resulted in a Spurs/Pistons finals right now.

Come on Joe, bring the Hill familiy back to Detroit and Canada. He can be a part of that veteran NON-arrogant leadership you need to get those youngsters in tuned to whats going on.

He still can hit the the short range jumper, and still has the skills to penetrate and get to the line and be the point forward that tay is trying to be and he can play the 1 , 2 or 3 if needed with 18-20 mins off the bench.

I've got mixed thoughts and feelings on this one.

I can't decide if he's a good guy or a jerk, and also can't decide if he's still able to play or if he's done.

I don't know how he would fit in with the current team, but then again who will our "current" team be??

I think Grant Hill is too old (he'll be 35 this Fall) and too much of a health risk (he has a steel plate and pins in that bad ankle) to bring on board. Why take a chance with a guy who is nearing the end of his career and whose health is a question mark?

Get a young pg in the draft. Pistons need quickness of the bench.

I have no desire to see Grant Hill in a Piston's jersey again.

I kid you not, I'd rather see Ron Artest.

But Low, Laims and Mahorn were dirty. They were masters of raking down a shooters arms from the ball (if they could reach it) to the head and shoulder area. They clotheslined guys, set picks with elbows sometimes extended away from the body. They enforced the no layup rule. And it was ok with me.

According to the local Lakers radio guy here, the lakers are looking at Artest, Hill amd Jermaine O and Camby as possible candidates to keep Kobe happy. They only have 5 mill to spend, so if they got two of them one whould have to signed at the min.

I am sure Tamia would not mind coming to Hollywood to extend her career, but I still think Hill as at least 1.5 years left in the tank and would till give you more than Hunter, Delfino and Murray and play all of their positions.

We got to reward him for allowing us to get Ben for five years:)

I could see Jermaine O`Neal really helping Kobe and the Lakers.

He would be good for at least 10 more wins, perhaps a top four seed position in the western conference.

itd be sweet if the lakers could bring in oneal in a trade and then hill at the mle

Hill Kobe and Oneal could def put enough points on the board to win some games.
