Fox has the lowly lions at 5 but fan voting has them right where they belong vote and see for yourself.

    I voted for Clipps.
The Twins are one of the best baseball orgs. What are they doing in there?
I hate when articles like that don't give the whole story and they come off looking stupid.

What's sad here is that the Lions even beat out the "other" category, which is the total frustration of all other fans combined who do not have a team entered.

Agreed. Just because they are incredibly cheap does not mean they are a poor organization. I think there was a tendency to put teams on there that weren't willing to fork over the big money, which is a poor criterion IMO.

I don't know why the Twins are on the list. Just because they won't over pay hasn't really hurt there performance on the field.

As for the Lions they deserve to be #1 on that list. The ownership is terrible. In the salary cap era it doesn't take 5 years to rebuild you should have your team in the playoffs within 2 years.

    It's a poorly done article.

The real issue is that the Lions situation probably gets more publicity given the fact they have not won a title in over 50 years and have barely made the playoffs either. Their ineptness gets more play on the late night shows of Letterman, Kimmel and Leno shows; Millen gets dogged on ESPN's> PTI, ARTH and First Take, so more people are aware of their issues than that the other nominees. I had no idea the Pirates hadn't had a winning season in 15 years :sssh:

If I'm not mistaken, the Lions have won ONE playoff game in my entire lifetime (I'm pushin' 40).
