vs Toronto Raptors Friday Mar 29 2013 - 7:30 PM EST Palace of Auburn Hills, Detroit, MI TV: FS Detroit Plus RADIO: 97.1FM GO PISTONS!
This game, Amir will make Raptors fans forget who that Chris Bosh guy was. I expect a quadruple-double from AJ on Friday; 14 points 23 rebounds 13 blocks 10 fouls
HisHe's back.......... Pistons notes: Signs point to Andre Drummond returning Friday night | Detroit Free Press | freep.com Andre Drummond set to return for Pistons, though Lawrence Frank remains coy | The Detroit News | detroitnews.com
The best comment from all the things I read is that the two big kids have been practicing together the last week, from all reports that wasn't happening at all early in the season.
Seriously! I'm so tired of watching this team tank all season just to have some pointless, heroic wins at the end of the season. Tilting at windmills, man. Tilting at windmills.
There has been little reason to watch Piston games over the last couple months. The Miami game was interesting because of the streak. With Drummond coming back, tonight's game will actually be fun to watch again. GREAT basketball lineup for tonight: 7:30 pm: Raptors at Pistons, FSD 7:37 pm: Michigan vs. Kansas in Arlington, TBS 9:45 pm: Michigan State vs. Duke in Indianapolis, CBS
STUPID STUPID NBALPBB! The one time I really want to watch a Pistons game in weeks and it's broken! GAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally it started working again. Drummond playing really well. 6pts, 1 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk in 4 minutes. Unfortunately Knight got clobbered within the first minute, so instead of the future core, I'm watching Stuckey.
Great job tanking. After getting off to a huge lead in the 1st, Frank trotted out the midget lineup of Jose-Knight-English-JJ-Max. The lead is now a more loseable 5 pts.
The toronto announcers were saying the same thing, Drummond got robbed on 2 out of the 3 bad calls in their opinion as well.
So I forgot the Pistons were playing tonight, then logged on to check how Drummond looked... 17 points 4 boards in only 19 minutes. Not terrible, not great, but it's only his first game starting and his first game back, so we'll give him a little leniency. ;) Important loss here for the Pistons, moving them into sole possession of fifth place in a game against an opponent that was a threat to them losing. At this point, how Drummond looks and how badly they play are the only two real interesting aspects of this season for me.
