When the Lions were kicking butt on Thanks day no one wanted to participate. Even V.Lombardi had had enough whippings here. Now talking heads say the football aint good enough and the game should move. Well since the Indians have been kwelled maybe we should stop Thanksgiving ! It's just a day to oink-out.

Texans can be beaten but the '12 version likes to shoot itself in the foot too often. The Texans can be a rough out for us because they can run the ball well. Think Vikes. Cause if we hold up for their run Shaub can hit A.Johnson and Owens. If we go pellmell to the QB, Foster can make a LB look stupid.
    24-20 Texans

This will be the game that causes the Lions to be abandoned by their new fans.

This will the game in which Lions fans will say, "Where was this all year?". Lions will pull a stunner. Final score:

    Lion 41
    Texans 38

You're KILLING us in TPG with this line of thinking.

I though the Green Bay game was the abandonment game.

lol, since we are getting some ref. protection, fewer penalties than GB last game we might have a chance.

you can't control Neems, you can only hope to contain him.

I am 12-1 this week. My brain has a sanity over-ride trigger that won't allow me to actually click on Detroit in TPG. Nemo should look into this...

This might help the Lions cause on Thursday...

"The Lions have had enough of Titus Young and his selfish behavior.

Young was sent home from the Lions’ practice facility today and coach Jim Schwartz said he will not play in Thursday’s Thanksgiving game against the Houston Texans as punishment for repeated on-field issues that culminated in Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers."

Don't bother trying to pick up Broyles...I already did. Not that I'll play him against the Texans

If you Young was complaining about the Lions play-calling on that 2nd to last drive, who could blame him? I would have been ticked, too.

Rascoe does a pretty good job of containment though........

Wish the Lions' DBs were as good at containment.

Could kubiak have thrown his challenge flag to make the play unreviewable and preserve the td if swartz didnt do it?

That is a stupid rule. I bet they change it in the off-season.

This is potentially a huge loophole that coaches can use to make favorable calls permanent. Belechick would be all over this.

The other team could decline the penalty, forcing the play to be reviewed.

Ah, good point. Unsportsmanlike conducts are declinable?

Sports has long been a entertainment business with big money flows as everyone see so sportsmanlike or unsportsmanlike, sounded so hypocritical to me.

never thought of that. I just know the NFL works hard to be smart yet they keep shooting themselves in the foot. Like the Lions.
At what time do you throw your flag ? As soon as you know you could get a favorable outcome ?
