I disagree a bit, I think Diop has more physical skills. I think it is a matter of time before his offensive skills catch up to his D, and he is still quite young.

In the end, doesn't matter, we won't sign him because we won't offer him the $ or length of contract.

Yes, but what about Rufus Henry?

LOL, I'd forgotten about him. Best name ever!

Actually, I did too until basketbills mentioned him in another thread a few weeks ago.

If a team would ever just sign him, his jersey would be a #1 seller.

Kwame, #1 overall pick in 2001, DNP on the worst team in the league last year, stuck behind Darko, Jason Collins, and Brian Cardinal. I will be stunned if he's playing in the NBA next year, let alone playing for Detroit.

Had Kwame been drafted by RC Buford(SA), Jerry West, Bryan Colangelo, I might say, "Give him a chance, those great GM's saw something in him to take him #1-overall", heck even Zeke, for all his flaws, is pretty good at eyeing draft talent.
But he was drafted by a joke of a GM, Michael Jordan. An idiot drafted an idiot, both need to take their millions and just go-AWAY!!!! Play some golf somewhere.

I think we should get Samb a chance to play next year. I know they say he's still another year away from being ready. This year we should play the young guys ton of minutes. I don't see us doing much in trades this year. Our best chance is the Piston youth. We don't need to be the top seed . We only need to make the playoffs wilth everyone ready to destroy the other teams.

Sign Herrmann to a Two year deal
Sign Ratliff & Hunter to a small One year deal.

    Billups/Shuckey/Hunter
    Rip/Afflalo
    Prince/Herrmann/Sharpe-
    Max/Amir/Dice
    Sheed/Samb/Ratliff

Plaisted & Washington plays overseas 'till ready to play for Pistons.

You want to revoke their citizenship? Isn't that kind of harsh?

Is he over that bout of left-footed-horny-toe disease? I thought that might keep him out for another year.
