So, it looks like Joe Dumars has been lurking around here under the screen name TheWorm.

I'm still not sold on KB.

Brown is a big body, young, who can actually hold his position against big centers. The Pistons don't have anyone on the roster who can do that other than Sheed. He is experienced and came cheap by NBA standards.

I appreciate the balance Webz and Roscoe and a couple of others have brought to this thread.

Yes, I am turning the other cheek. I do not wish to stoop to their level. But I will comment shortly. I am merely providing the opportunity for other's to speak up and indulge in the ridicule that makes them feel so much better about themselves. Anyone else?

I heard that they originally wanted Kwame to play the lead role in this commercial but he declined. Woulda been huge!

What's up with this "small hands" thing? There are a lot of guys who are a foot shorter than Brown who are excellent ball handlers, and he can't possibly have smaller hands than theirs. The ball is the same size, whether you're Boykins or Yao.

    Am I missing something here?

Antonio Davis had very small hands also and he did OK.

But that's what you are with them, a role player 2 hand dunker, maybe jumpshooter, maybe half hooker, but not a guy who gets it done after contact.

I'm actually seeing a lot of average to Ok hands plays in here. YouTube - Kwame Brown Mix

Wow, nobody Dunks on Troy Murphy like that... oh nevermind.

Apparently Kwame's hands are approx. the same size as hands you expect to see on a guy 5'11". You can kinda see the proportions here:

Now compare with Karl Malone's hands (concentrate on the size of his hand versus the size of his head):

This is what Coach Curry should be showing Kwame before each game:

KB's hands are small... But it's more about confidence than anything else.

He went from a ball hoggin' trio with the Wiz to a Kobe team that stands around waiting for Kobe to jack up a shot. He gave up on the part of playing team ball, passing and catching... so he decided to retaliate by throwing cakes instead.

Wow, after watching the video, he's actually a lot better than I thought. Capable of finishing soft, and ?left handed???

Actually my track record to date has been pretty good. In the first thread I started, I argued the case that Billups' ego had gotten out of control, despite the flack that I knew would surely come from those threatened by someone else having an opinion that ran counter to the masses. Funny how when a few others spoke up and expressed a similar view, the hater's went silent. :cold:

(By hater's I mean those that made personal attacks. I have no problems with others disagreeing with my views per se).

Within days, the very credible Armygirl posts comments heard straight from Coach Thompson's mouth, along the lines that Chauncey's ego left no room in the gym for anybody else. Not much more needs to be said...
The second thread I started was this one, in which I suggested that Kwame would be a vintage Joe D signing (signing a guy who had worn out his welcome elsewhere/failed to meet expectations, but might have something to prove, and indeed perhaps flourish in the right environment).

Again, I stuck my neck out, and made a call that very few would have been willing to do, even if they had also seen it coming.

Keep going with your b1tchy snipes about clocks, squirrels and code language (since you are too gutless to come out and state straight up whatever it is you mean). About as un-Piston-like as you can get.

Meanwhile myself and others will keep attempting to make thoughtful posts that stimulate intelligent and passionate debate, minus the bull%%%%.
