I think MSU has a better shot at a bowl bid than UM does. MSU will probably beat UM and Purdue. They only need one more win to get a bowl game anyway. I think they finish with 7 or 8. UM will be lucky to win 4 games total at this point.
Look for Um to go 7-8 victories tops. Still hoping for a winning season. Spartans win at least 9-10 and a possible BCS bid...
Wolverines embarrased again...this time losing their first game in history to a MAC team as Toledo beat them 13-10. The Michigan QB's threw three intersections including the key one on their second drive of the game which was returned for a 101 yard touch down. Looks like Rodriquez gambled with Nick Sheridan in the second half and it was bad choice in my opinion as he threw two more INT's and the team struggled to moved the ball. They had a chance to tie the game in the end, but the kicker blows a 26 yard FG to the left with a few seconds left on the clock... No bowl this year after 33 years in row of bowl appearances and probably thie first losing season in 40 years too.
Worst scUM team ever? I think maybe so...I was expecting them to win 56-3. This is crazy... Hell, maybe MSU WILL knock them off this year in Ann Arbor...no matter how hard we try to lose...
Despite being this bad, I had to look twice at that UM final score. Wow. Not as bad as the App. State loss, though. But pretty close. Not only is UM gonna have a losing season, they might only get three wins! Can't fire Rodriguez yet, but UM fans should be calling for the head of AD Bill Martin.

Toledo is ranked 101. I wonder how far they moved up after defeating the Wolverines or if they were even in the top 120??
When the true blue UM fans think about the worst UM teams ever, this season's edition has to be close to the top of that list.
I was wondering what DickRod was thinking when he was settling for FG's in the first half. Why was he content to sit on a 10 point lead against one of the top teams in the country? Anyways, doesn't matter. I have to go zen for the rest of the season as we continue to embarrass ourselves.
Interesting, I was watching the OSU vs PSU game tonight. They stated that since Joe Paterno has been coach, he has won 380 games. He has been the coach since the beginning of 1966. They also stated that OSU has won exactly 380 games during that same time span. I checked UM to see how many they've won. Including their two wins this season, they are also at 380 wins. Remarkable. By the way, MSU has 245 wins during the same period.
Now the showdown is set up. PSU beat OSU and the Big Ten will be decided when PSU plays MSU. This is assuming that both teams arrive on November 22nd with no more losses.
I enjoyed watching the good ole fashioned Big Ten Game. A good day by the MSU deefense will make the game close.
Unless something truly crazy happens MSU doesn't stand a chance against PSU. Penn State & Texas at the Orange Bowl
