    dang micro, tied in turnovers and personal fouls, and really close numbers all the way around. surprised it was 6-3 and not a tie! also surprised i've only made one move all season and i'm still doing well, but ralphi's team is stacked and i can't see beating him

    its pretty cool, but the further we go on the more i'm not a big fan of counting fouls, techs, etc.

    its possible to win 5 cats without even playing one person for the week. i think maybe we've gone the wrong way. too much focus on the negative cats.
    perhaps the emphasis should be on lots and lots of moves and limiting it to the most important cats (FG, FT, 3PM, PTS, REB, AST, STL, BLK) maybe even drop the %'s.

    but hey, that could be an idea for an entirely seperate league. is it too late to start another new one? haha.

    No more leagues please! I'm in 3 after I swore I would be in none!

    I like the current system, even the negative stats that have bit me in the butt once already. But the sleeper league is more advanced than advanced in a way, because you really have to be on top of who is injured, who loses their starting position, who is a true sleeper. After the draft, there is a good chance that half of your roster is garbage. You really need to work hard to stay on top of the best of the rest.

    And with no extra roster spots, your moves have to be very good.

    There won't be any more. Trust me. 4 leagues is more than enough for this forum. I'm sure the rules for the sleeper league can be revisited next year.

    The Sleeper league was just a novelty act. maybe instead of open and sleeper leagues we can do a keeper league.

    ... continuing this in the right thread.

    it was an incredibly close result though despite the 8-2. you got 3 techs which didn't help, and apart from 3's really everything else was very close.

    my guys aren't losers. they are young guns. i have a 'no old guys allowed' rule on my team, but i made one exception with Zo.

    i can stomach it if young guys have off games cos they're only going to get better, but when you have 'over the hill' vets who don't produce, well theres only one direction they're heading in....

    and perhaps when i get through with all of you, you guys can add to your keeper and sleeper leagues and make a 'weeper' league, where you all lick your wounds and blacklist me from joining :)

    or we could start an experts league where you need a minimum of 3 championships to enter. then you can play with yourself all year long. :MusicBigGrin:

    @webz
    your squad is decent, true. Zo's been blocking like back in his best days since re- entering as the starting C. Also, JR Reid is very nice (I have him on my Novice team and he's turned out to be a major steal).
    Now we know that having the #1 pick might mean that you didn't get a sleeper, but a proven player (although there was no proof that Kevin Martin would continue his stellar play)- but that doesn't mean your team can't be beaten.

    haha, I was talking about JR Smith (my bad). Who knows, maybe Reid's a real sleeper, the realest of all time. The R.O.A.T.
