Now, let's not get cocky until after we see if scUM can win their home opener against Western Michigan :D

Again, WTH is with UM's schedule? 8 of 12 games at home?

I'm a Bronco at heart but even I'm not giving WMU a chance.

The Rich Rodriguez hiring was a mistake from the start.

I like seeing MSU beat UM as much as the next guy, but I don't think I'm buying what the Freep is selling.

So these students are being overworked by tortuous overtime practices and workouts, yet they manage to score THE HIGHEST GPA in team HISTORY?? Something stinks here, and I think it's the Freep's investigative journalism division for publishing reports sourced by players with an axe to grind.

I'd have to dig for the link but I read most UM players major in something called 'General Studies'. Again, Rosenberg broke the original story and he's a UM grad.

    Isn't Rosenberg known to be a Carr-slappy and Rod-hater?

and most UM grad's are unhappy with last year's success, and our AD is on record as saying that breaking rules is the fastest way out of town.... you do the math...

This is a story that every division 1 football team in the country could have written about it... everybody pushes this "grey" line on amount of practice.

If Bill Martin said that, fine. But I expect him to either resign or be canned by the end of the season over the RichRod hire.

Yeah, I'm sure there's gray matter in every program...but you usually don't hear of players publicly complaining about it.

It's kind of weird that the MSU folks get so giddy whenever something bad happens to Michigan.

Seriously, it's not just MSU fans. Even in BF Idaho the U of M is despised by all. You can't go around acting like a bunch of arrogant entitled Pri..s for years and expect people not to rejoice in your downfall. Well, I guess some scUM folk might feel that you can since they are a bunch of arrogant Pri..s.

How in the hell do you go 3-9 when you only have four road games and you are NOT the Lions?

I guess scUM felt the need to step up their cheating campaign ever since Sparty took over.

Well, the positive spin is...they won't lose another bowl game this year. Either the sanctions will prevent it or their lousy record will.

It seems as if the discipline and work ethic being instilled in these student/athletes on practice field is carrying over into their acedemic lives!
