I am very surprised that other teams have not tried to run the triangle. In football an assistant coach learns a system then goes somewhere and tries to run that system with a tweak or 2. How many assistant coaches has Phil and Tex had in the last 15 years? Imo other teams could pull it off granted other teams won’t have MJ or Kobe but every team has a superstar these days. Wasn’t Ron Harper a Lakers assistant? Didn’t he play pg in the triangle? Hmmmmmm Cool find Roscoe!

Henry Abbott @ Truehoop blogs a lot of really cool stuff. LanierFan turned me onto Truehoop last season and I read it every single day, usually over Hoopshype.

Anyway, thanks for the kudos, I'm just pasting links. If you really like basketball, you might want to check out Truehoop regularly. I'll post what I can, but there is decent to great stuff daily.

I'm loving this video. I will try to implement the triangle offense in my NBA Live game. Should be interesting to see how much I truely understand it now.

Haha, most of the time in basketball video games its just ISO after ISO.

Interesting videos though from Phil. I wonder how much opposition teams actually scout this stuff. They usually only have a day or sometimes a few hours to prepare for the next game, I guess thats why Phil doesnt mind sharing some of his strategy.

You'd need a series to be able to really come up with a strategy against it.

    Not my squad.

I'm unstoppable with any team because my offense relys on alot of ball movement. Ranked top 200, yeah baby! Who wants some?

    Hahaha that is funny.

I also liked Kobe "Baby" Bryant's comments farther down the page about being chosen as a judge for the slam dunk contest.
Well Kobe, you didn't excatly hold a press conference about it yourself while you were flagrantly elbowing Ginobili in the face either.
