Alright people. Quit your bellyaching about what Joe is or isn't doing in the big world of free agency* and get behind the young blood on this team. Or, watch your pet draft pick play for another team and complain that we should have got him instead.

    Vegas Summer League starts today!

NBA.com Summer League - Vegas Summer League

Pistons Daye, Sharpe, Bynum and wait for it....Plaisted take on the Sac at 6PM ET , 3 PT

    Go Pistons!

*I suppose you could keep scanning the wire for breaking news on guys we want but ain't gonna get.

I'll let you guys in on a lil secret...the gig is up...

The gf no longer works at Thomas and Mack and I can't avoid the insane $225 price tag that comes along with showing up for Summer League.

Summer League admission is $25 A DAY. I have seen regular season NBA game tickets on sale for less than that. From the 1st year of attendance the NBA had clearly recognized this as one more opportunity to cash in.

I'll be keeping an eye on it, but not a 1st hand eye. Times are tough and money is tougher...lol.

So, my apologies in advance for not bringing you the 1st hand reports and write ups. I really did enjoy bringing you guys all that info.

Is taking a nap considered as a "minor injury"?

    I'll be watching this.

Hopefully it will be better than last year. The Orlando summer league is finishing today I believe. Those guys were cut ups. They are answering Emails asking if they would rather see some player or Larry Dallas from Threes Company play next year. They ended up agreeing on Larry Dallas, even though according to them he'd probably need to be pried away from the Regal Beagle. :pound:

If we get announcers like that it will be pretty fun to watch.

So, are we going to start a fund to get Low into a few of the games?

    These Orlando guys are hilarious!

"Hibbert for three...same place he made it from yesterday...(Hibbert misses badly)..and now we're back to reality. " :pound:

" (reading emails)Shoutout to 'Matts' mom'....now that's gangster." "You know what Matt...just jump off this ledge here"

"Rather inauspicious start for the Magic".."'Inauspicious', That's a big word".."My dad used to have the big toilet paper with the words on it"

    Too much.

You mean you don't want to take that cushy part time job of carrying in Austin Dayes' bags into the arena each day? That will certainly get you free admission and some sound bites:)

Judging from Tay's luggage, I can't even imagine the size of Dayes bags.

Actually, it was reported as an "undisclosed injury". So yeah, probably a nap.

I wouldn't want newcomers to the forum to think that Tay actaully carries the little suitcase. He pulls it on wheels.

I was hoping that someone would find a live stream for summer league. i am tempted to do the broad band thing. I'm interested in seeing how trent does since his season ending injury. I read the Swede appeared to be most dominant in a scrimmage they had.

If he isn't the starting C this year then Joe should be fired and drug tested!
