Daye looked comfortable dribbling on the break.

Nice interview with Mrs D? Appears that she knows a couple of things and is involved with what Joe is doing. She wants to see "new action" on the floor?:)

I wonder if Mr D ever made it to the summer league games...funny as soon as she sat down to interview with the announcers, the Pistons players fell into a funk...

She will probably go out to the Flamingo Hilton and see George Wallace tonight :)

That was interesting how into it sounds like she is.

She really cut out quickly after that 2 minute story about fighting though.

Daye with some bad drives into traffic and turnovers. Also, looking pretty easy to drive around.

It's tough to defend the drive the way the refs are calling it. You touch someone and it's a foul.

I thought so, too. I only heard them for a few seconds, but it sounded like they were actually mocking the players? That's so not classy.

Pistons steamroll Knicks in the 4th game of the tournament.

NBA.com 2009 NBA Summer League Game Boxscore

Pistons' "big 3" for the first time all had good games:

    Daye 27 pts 13 rbs
    Summers 26 pts 8 rbs
    Jerebko 13 pts 12 rbs

Nobody else stood out. Plaisted with only 2 pts and 4 rbs in under 10 min.
Singletary, vying for the 3rd PG spot had a solid game with 15 pts 5 rbs 6 assts.

These coaches stink and are all stupid!!!! Why they only play Plaisted for under 10 minutes?

Glad to see both Daye and Summers rebound after having a poor outing last game.

Seem that big3 is solidifying their spot and Singletary is working himself to regular season roster.

I have not paid much attention in last years either to summer league or preseason, why - no matter who played there, fab5 ate most of minutes anyway .Only Serbian Failed Gangsta was an exception-he really draw an interest.

This season is very different - young folk who shines there will get their chance in regular season and therefore is worth of watching.

    • Daye with 0 assists and 5 turnovers?
    • He's listed as CENTER:pound:
    • But it sure helped his rebounding. 13 rebs in 36 minutes is not bad at all.
    • Also, 10FTA's is a good sign. Could it be that he likes contact?
    • Solid double double for Jerebko.
    • What was Washington doing? just playing good defense? Maybe he's all athlete and no skill, eh?

The commentators during the previous game were on Daye for going sideways too much with his dribble rather than finding direct path to the basket, which he supposedly can do. That's what is causing many turnovers.
Knock on Daye is that he's wearing out by the end of the games where he plays big minutes. He also can't hang on to all rebounds due to lack of strength. On one play against Golden State, the opposing player just took the ball from him while he was just holding it ([SARCASM]patented Tay move[/SARCASM]).
Washington is more of a defensive player. It is possible that he was out there helping, but not worrying about the offense with the other players being so productive. He only took 3 shots.

It is interesting to actually see how our fleet of SF's fit into different positions.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like Summers is a 2/3, Washington is a defensive 3, Daye is a 3/ weak 4, and Jerebko is a 4.

Summers would be a monster at 2 being 6'8" 240 lbs. He could post pretty much at will. Washington is probably a 2/3. Daye looks like 3/4 and they are stretching Jerebko into 4/5 saying that he's 6'10".

So maybe Summers is more of a point forward?

Isn't he doing a lot of the ball handling and play making?
