You know what is encouraging? The Pistons are on a roll. And they lead the East. And they've knocked off Cleveland, Miami, New Jersey and Orlando.

The real tests will be San Antonio, Phoenix and the rematch with Utah. We already know that the Mavericks are our lapdogs. :)

    Something else that is encouraging...

Our defense has been excellent of late. I know, it's the regular season bla bla. But the zone man mixes have been effective, finally confusing our opponents more than ourselves!!!

I'm pro-zone. It works in spurts.

Davis has played 11 minutes in the last 2 games. Unless that changes I don't see how C has become a 2-headed monster. We've got a rotation, and thus far there's 3 players that have been in it consistently.

An excellent book called "Trading In The Zone" by Mark Douglas points out a lot of ways that a person's psyche can prevent them from succeeding. I highly recommend it to all those who believe in the use of a zone!!

People forget that the forerunner of the Detroit Pistons was the Fort Wayne Zoner (Zollner) Pistons. Thats bad but I couldn't resist.

Absolutely agee. If you got to spurt, make sure that you spurt in the zone.

That is even worse than my last one. Okay enough of this for today, I promise.

They didn't get paid enough to rebound. Rebounding is hard work. That is why former Pistons like Rodman and Big Ben were so special to watch among other reasons.

    :hoops:
