WOW! This is what you miss when you listen on the radio. Thanks for the vid, I already watched it about 15 times.
Yeah coming in cold and shooting a turnaround J over a 7 foot shotblocker ain't no big thang. Or the block that was called goaltending (very close), or the absolutely thunderous dunk in the vid. Damn rebounds.
Don't Darkojack threads or I will have to wake up Roscoe (and he wakes being woke up for forum business!). ;) :D
Fantastic dunk. Overall, I'd like to see more offense going toward the rim when he posts up. The guy I saw in the summer league was a good spot up shooter (like the shot in orlando), but when he was in the post he was at his best when he was going toward the rim instead of fading away. He has a good touch around the basket, but he hasn't used it yet. Everything is a jumper or a dunk. I agree with the rebounding, but more importantly his help defense. A big reason he didn't get many rebounds is because Toronto was scoring at will, so there weren't many to be had. Mike James was just getting past Lindsey/Delk with ease and all we had is Delfino and Max meeting him in the paint. Obviously Free Throw shooting is a concern as well. He needs to get that up to the 70% range with the style he plays, or he'll be leaving a ton of points behind over his career.
I saw the game. It was quite the treat seeing JMax on. He didn't look too out of place out there - real Pistons DNA.
