I suspect that the presence of Max and JJ, both good rebounders that require attention, helped a lot too. No putting too much emphasis on keeping Ben off the boards when Max is knocking around.
The line up of Max, JJ, and Big Ben caused even problems for the very quick and athletic front line of Josh Smith, Horford and Marvin Williams. Great bit of coaching by Q, in my opinion.
How about Jason Maxiell's jump shot recently? Seems like he has some pretty good touch over the last few games. And he's not over using it... just shooting it when we have no other options or when it fits into the flow.
turnaround fadeaways too... It's good to see that Maxi has regained his touch. You cant live on pure hustle for long unless you own physically everyone and Maxi is undersized PF.
This was a pride win. Last time I saw this is when ended a 18 game losing streak to the Bulls in the last regular season game Doug Collins coached for Pistons. Good win.
Yeah, I first thought it wwas a lucky fluke, know he seems as if he's just simply betteer. He did say that he worked hard on it knowing that he was essentially going to be asked to replace what McDyess brought to the table. Ben Wallace is making that look like a false statement.
