Detroit Pistons vs New Orleans Hornets Friday January 15 8:00 pm Local TV: FS Detroit Nat'l TV: Radio: 97.1 The Ticket
Bump bump... Both Gordon and Prince are game-time decisions while Bynum's still out. Can we make life hard for CP3? Can we contain David West? Hmm... I wonder if Q will have Atkins guarding CP3 tonight. Maybe in a moment of desparation he'll put JJ on CP3. This game can be really good, or it can be really ugly. The plus side is, there's the "trade in your old jersey" thing going on:
I hope that relic from a bygone era, Chris Paul, has his eyes open tonight because Runnin' Rodney Stuckey is going to show him how the PG position is played.
Maybe I can try out the streaming radio broadcast of the game on my droid. Luc Longley was on my flight to LA.
I wouldnt mind seeing Daye D' up Chris Paul for a short spell. His length would make up for his lack of quickness (compared to CP3).
I suppose the solution would be Stuckey on CP3... There are no real solutions, we dont have anyone to guard CP3. So why not Daye. Ya'll are haters anyways!
I only got to watch from the beginning of the 4th quarter, but man what a game! I saw effort, heart, and an amazing offensive rebound stat! Nice work Pistons, loved that you came to play tonight with your defense! Ben was a beast! Lets do it again tomorrow fellas!
Well I went onto Yahoo to check my fantasy team and noticed that the Pistons were leading a close game with a minute to go. So I logged into chat and had a fun time chatting with everyone. It definitely made up for not being able to watch any of the games. I keep telling myself that someday I will get League pass, but right now a new baby and a new job are taking too much time for it to be worth the money. Anyway, I didn't expect this game to even be close, so I'm very happy we got the win, even though we are inofficially in tank mode. GO PISTONS!!!!! Oh, and Afflalo didn't play enough.
why to win losable game and to give a reason for Silvertingue to sell fool's gold: possible 8th PO seed as a great achievement??
Stuckey got a knee to knee in the 1st quarter and played hobbled the rest of the game. Incredibly gutty performance by him, and he was the star of overtime -- this is one of those (hopefully) "lead by example" moments that his teammates have to love. Jerebko looks better and better all the time. We used him as the point forward quite a bit tonight - something I didn't realize he could do. I don't know where this kid's upside potential ends. He's a baller, plain and simple, and nobody works harder. He played great D tonight.
I couldn't watch the game and could only listen on the radio, but they keep saying JJ ran the point in the 4th. Is that true? And if so was he any good?
