Detroit Pistons vs Sacramento Kings Wednesday February 10 7:30 pm Local TV: FS Detroit Nat'l TV: Radio: 97.1 The Ticket
The Stons are 18 and 32 going into tonight's ball game which is a 36% winning percentage. With the roster getting healthy and the All-Star break coming; can the Stons reverse this percentage to 64% and go 21 and 11 to close out the season?

So, that's a 10-22 record for the remainder of the season, which will put us at 28-54. We may pull a few surprises and get to 30 wins. You need 8-9 more wins than that to get the 8th seed. I just don't see it happening.
Playoff push?! Yeeeah alrite. Rip had a horrible game. As did Gordon. Gave up crucial offensive rebounds in the 4th and then the t/o by stuckey to ice the game. Man, I gotta stop staying up to watch these games haha. On the flip side, Prince had a great game.
First half - Great Stuckey Second half - Horrible, putrid, awful Stuckey Which one is he? Will the real Stuckey please stand up?
Stuckey is the opposite of clutch. There are many nights when I am not sure he is the best player on the court for the Pistons.
That becomes rather problematic at the end of games when Hamilton, Prince, even Gordon (despite what we've heard) are all equally unclutch.
Pretty good game overall. Stuckey malfunctioned there at the end though. It was like his circuit board got wet. Also, Rip really needs to retire the cross court pass in the half court set. He throws interceptions that Scott Mitchell would be embarrassed by. Jonas and Max were kicking butt again. Tay finally putting together a vintage offensive performance. Silent, but deadly. Not sure how they counted that dunk to end the 3rd quarter after reviewing it. Clearly still touching the player's hand when the light went off. Is there a rule that if the ball is partially through the rim that it counts?
Stuckey playing 42 minutes after playing 38 the night before, there is your loss explanation right there. Everyone knows that he is horrible when not rested. I want a high lottery pick, but "healthy" Pistons losing at home to the Kings is not fun.
Best thing that could of happened for the franchise. Isn't this the healthy version that everyone thought we would see? Not even close to being a playoff success.... maybe if we change the rotations... this will make us a ship contender. Time to clean house
Yeah, there's really no excuse for Kuester playing Rodney 42 minutes, on the 2nd of a back to back with a full compliment of guards.
We really need to alter the rotations and split up Rip and Stuck. Stuck needs to play along side Gordon and Gordon needs to get more minutes. Wil needs to be paired with Rip. Gordon is still trying to find his shot. I am not sure but it looks to me like he is trying to do too much in too short a time on the floor. He needs to see 25-30 minutes a game, at least. Maybe they are trying to ease him back in but over his last 4 years with Chicago he was averaging over 33 minutes a game and being successful. Over the last ten games he is averaging about 20 minutes a game while Tay is averaging almost 32. Both coming back from injury. If we want him to find his shot, we need to play him more minutes to find it. We could ease him back once he is in sync but right now he needs to be on the floor more. Is it just me or does he seem frustrated with his role during the interviews. It may be the losing that is getting to him but he just does not seem happy to be here.
42 minutes for a 23 year old guard, what in the world are they thinking?!?! Tyreke Evans seemed a lot taller than Stukcey when he stole that pass at the end of the game. The difference between Evans and Runnin' (But Not Too Much Running Because He'll Get Tired) Rodney is that Evans has another gear he can put it into when needed. I am rooting for the Pistons to lose because they need to get some high draft picks. That being said it really doesn't sit well when Sacto comes in and gets their 5th road win of the year. Has there been a game yet against the dregs of the L where you wouldn't trade rosters and cap outlook with them? I think Indy is the only one so far. How about the stat that showed the Pistons were 3-1 in their last 4 games and had a negative point differential? It was weird seeing a team have so much success against the Pistons on the offensive glass.
