In 4 years: 60 games 4,191 yards 270 receptions 34 touchdowns 15.5 yards / reception I'll take Calvin on my team any day of the week!
That's a gritty dude. Pretty weak criticism to blame the W/L column on 1 player out of 22 starters on a team with 1 playoff win since 1957. Oh well, CJ is on the high road and when we get some post season success, it will be that much more satisfying for him.
WoW ! When I saw the thread I started laughing - right until I saw the corpse. Al Davis is fighting the good fight. Don't go gently Baby ! **** That was pretty harsh Coy *** ---------------------- Al Davis was a bad dude man. Stood alone against his own union of owners. Kicked much azzz in Super Bowls. Raided LA. Raided Oakland. Much Respect.
A little known fact is that Al Davis has presented 9 candidates into the Football Hall of Fame. That's more than anyone...ever. Obviously, he is respected. He's been the Managing Partner of the Oakland Raiders since 1966. About the same length as William Clay Ford. How many people has WCF introduced into the HOF.
Shows you what kind of football IQ the guy has. Hey Al, besides Russell, how's that Hayward-Bey pick working out for you? First rounder right? Thought so.
Every time I see Al Davis shaking hands with someone, I fully expect him to pull the person towards him and start eating the other person's face. Don't you picture him absent-mindedly biting his scouts when they're looking at film?
What's shakin' Dre? This team is just brutal. What could I say that everyone doesn't already know? This team is filled with shoot first, tweener guards. There is no interior presence. The best two players on the entire team are complementary guys. There is no hope on the horizon. I force myself to watch most of the games, but I'm watching the other team more than I'm watching our boys. Just sad. I'm loving me some Lions though. This the first time I've felt good about the Leos since #20 hung 'em up.
Seriously though. Al Davis is a damn zombie. Look at the raw hunger and malevolence in his eyes. If i found a confused Al Davis in my house in the middle of the night, I would give him the "double-tap" to the head, grab some bottled water and canned goods, and then head to the hills.
I did the same thing when Rascoe came over for a surprise visit one day except I headed to Idaho (same difference, I guess).
