Bad Boy Bill actually had one left handed dunk in the 1984 all star game, in which 3 Pistons were also on the court at the same time.

I think you misspelled "TriPUKEahhhhhhhh" I think if you looked up 'bad looking 80's white basketball player' in the encyclopedia Tripucka would be staring right back at you. It'd be like Jackie Moon from that new movie at the end of his career.

Seriously though, How well we do against Howard just shows how incredible a defender Sheed is and, to a lesser degree, how well Dyess can do in stretches against guys he probably shouldn't be able to check at all.

We might need Brezec to not suck tonight if he gets some burn.

This will also be a good litmus test Amir if he has to face SuperFreak Dwight Howard.

Where did that comment come from?

    Sounds awfully racist to me.

He might have gone through his bad hair phase, but Seinfeld never had Puke's creepy pedophile mustache. That thing was even uglier than Buddha's.

If we beat them in the playoffs you can change the the caption to "faced" past tense and send it to the wire services, ESPN, etc. I am sure someone will pick it up and use it.

    It is pretty clever.

This is a great poster, and we could say that Sheed and Dhow pretty much offset each other tonight, both with 4 blocks and the ponts were about even. But as TaShawn indicated in the Orlando game thread, the Superman intimidation factor may have been in play as the some of the Pistons were afraid to attack the middle and we took alot up jumpers and hurried a lot of shots.

Tay got blocked a couple of times and stopped going inside. The problem is not Howard's intimidation. We don't have anyone on this team who can consistently go inside and score or draw fouls. And we don't have anyone who would get calls. So, with that, Howard will loom large in the middle. Hopefully with time Stuckey will get to that point where someone like Howard wouldn't be a problem.
As an example: we had WallaceX2 defending our hoop, an intimidating force. However, D-Wade would go to the line 20 times in a game, thus negating the effectiveness of the defenders.

So we went out and drafted the WNBA version of D Wade in Stuckey (99% Below the rim, not giant hands) trying to fix that problem.

We haven't seen enough of Stuckey yet to determine whether he is any type of version of D Wade. And he doesn't have to be in order to be effective. He will be more of a PG than a SG.

He seems to be a more limited version of DWade, possibly with a better J, and he will certainly play more 1, which is what D Wade did as a rook as well.

he admits to emulating Wade and says he was his favorite player, I'm not pulling this out of thin air.

And I am not saying that you do. Many of the youngsters try to model their play after an NBA star. But they still grow up with their own game which is not necessarily the same as what their original intentions were. We'll have to wait and see on this one.

He looks like he has a lot of Wade's game. He handles the ball well, can really get in the lane. He's bulky, yet quick and has great hops. And he has limited range, but seems to be pretty good from the FT line and a little beyond.

Wade eventually increased his range and hopefully Stuckey will do the same. Last year, Wade's eFG on all shots beyond the FT line was .385. Considering the amount he gets in the lane and gets fouled, that is not a horrible number.

If Stuckey can get his to that level, he'll be really effective.
