Agree, nothing matters other than he bring some wisdom, leadership, hops & stops to help this young team move forward. That's it.

It's beyond ridiculous for supposed fans of the team to hold grudges against a guy that was the heart & soul of the slogan "going to work". A guy that was instrumental in delivering the Championship to Detroit.

Any scrub that works overtime parsing his alleged words, their inference, the nature of the conversation that may or may not have taken place just to validate their Ben hate needs counseling. Maybe there's a psychologist posting over on the Cleveland boards that can help you out...

    I like the BW signing.

I just can't see too many rooks being pre-occupied with beating a porn star to 4,000 Twitter followers when Ben Wallace is staring at you from across the lockeroom.

I hope Arnie can do his thang and get Ben into "Comback Player of the Year" kinda shape. I ain't expecting much but it would be pretty effin' sweet to see "The Fro" rejuvinated enough to win the starting Center position from Giant Turd.

Not on your life. I hate your guts for making this comment, I disagree with everything you say, and I am going to hound you about it to your grave. Consider us un-friended on Facebook.

    :good:

But you threw up out of joy, right? :thumb:

I know where you are coming from. I don't have a love for either more than the other. I have the most love for those that get results...when Joe makes deals that get results, I'm diggin Joe's deals. When players we have produce results, I'm riding for those players. Don't get results (No matter what side you're on and I don't need to name names) and I'll drive you to the airport.

Yes! This is fabulous news. Mostly because I put on my Ben Wallace T-shirt (completely out of the blue not having worn it in months) this morning and not only was it a lucky charm it also became relevant in the afternoon.

My Ben Wallace jersey has just been re-activated!

As long as Stuckey gives him the number of course.

Will Rip cry with joy that one of his former mates has come back?

Hopefully he can get healthy enough to be able to get out on the floor.

But now more than ever, Ben will need to give us his intangibles to be effective. It's his intangibles off the floor that will be most important. Leadership, work ethic, teaching, etc.

A few things Ben can do to help:
    1. Take Daye under his wing in the gym
    2. Take Gordon under his wing on defense
    3. Take CV under his wing on growing a Fro
    4. Take Kwame and Washington under his wing on FT shooting

The dude has been gone 3 years and still holds 15 Piston records...yep give him back # 3 and then put it up in the rafters with the other Piston legends.

Time for me to switch Avatars again....

This is great news! Ben is a shell of his former self & won't play much, but I don't care! I got my Benny Back!

Very classy move by Stuckey. Nice tweet too.

Welcome home big fella. I've been wearing smile since the news revealed even wifey asked me what's that for.
The era of Wall to Wall which had left a lot for fans to remember was gone and now it's the Double Ben. Albeit his contract is minimum his role on court will be reduced and his minutes will be limited but wishing there will be plenty of intangible will provide on court and off court.
Further more, to go retire as a Pistons will be the best event for the franchise, for fans, for himself, for JD and everyone. Whoooo, how classy this signing is ! JD is always the player's GM.
