As it is for me right now in my early 20s. Just read the book last year, and am still in digestion.
many here talk of Zen Art of motorcycle maintenance? seems that I need to check ebay or other similar maket to check it out...You have made me drool... Curse you! You have forced me to read a book!
I hate to break it to you, but there are no pictures in that book.
its a hometown fluff piece... but a really nice read, and hard to argue alot of the points it makes... PISTONS: Closing the Loop
Agree that is a win-win situation for both parties that should silence the critics.
Gotta like your AV dre.. gray haired Ben... good stuff :^)
Thank you sir. ;)
Thnx... If Ben was any older he would be bald...but the gray hair shows that he still has it and folks should still fear the fro!!
in the NBA, being 34 is like being 64 in real life.
I must be in the NBA then. lol
I must be dead. (I thought it was getting harder to get up in the mornings.)
I'm looking forward to the day when CV blows a defensive assignment and starts to tweet about it and then sees Ben glowering from the end of the bench and he gets so frightened that he starts growing hair. It'll be interesting to see what max's role will be. Two undersized big men don't add up to a strong second unit. Neither is good enough to start, nor bad enough to merit being the fifth big off the bench. Is this the Zen and the art of motorcycle book that everyone is reading?
I just hop Max get's more minutes than last year. His Per 36min a game stats for 07-08 were around 2blks, 9boards, and 13pts. That season he average 21.6min a game which anywhere from 20-25min would be good to me. It'd be interesting seeing him and CV out on the floor at the same time. CV would be a disaster for Center's to guard on offense and Max could just man the paint all day long.
Aye. But I read it about 12 years ago.
It's going to be tight on minutes in the post, esp. with tayshaun moving down there on occasion. With the tight minutes at both guard sports and the 3 headed back up monster it will be a very competitive camp, and probably a 8-12 man rotation throughout the year. Someone will emerge as the odd-man-out early and will sit or get sent to the d-league. Ben is a proven veteran who probably will sit early in the season as this shake down happens (probably working with arnie to coat his bones in adamantium), but I will not be surprised if he starts taking more and more people's minutes after the all-star break, especially max's if he doesn't show that he can hold down the middle alongside someone like Tayshaun, Jerebko, or Summers.
I have a feeling that Maxiel will come out extra motivated this year. He has been a complete non-factor in all the talk and you would think that it has to be bothering him.
I'm excited to see Maxiell paired up with Ben. By the way, we have some really stone handed big men in Maxiell, Kwame, and Ben. Imagine these guys in a game of HORSE! It would go on forever.
Good thing that Curry is no longer the coach. It would literally go on forever since he would likely have them all spelling "Horse" wrong.
Ben Wallace will wear #6. Pistons center Ben Wallace will wear No. 6 | Detroit Free Press | Freep.com
Great move, that's what a man, a vet, an older brother all about.
