It seems like an eternity, but we are finally going to see some Pistons basketball. All of the new faces will be on the court. It should be fun.

    Television:
7:30 pm : Fox Sports Detroit (FSD and FSD HD) - Toronto at Detroit

    Also airing:
7:00 pm on FSD : Detroit Pistons Dancers Tryouts

I'm looking forward to the dancer tryouts. They seem like a perfect springboard to the BBA (Bikini Basketball Association).

It is apparently on NBATV also outside the Detroit area. (I hope this isn't their 1 national TV run.)

Possibly no JV for this one. I really want to see him (much hyped as he is) go against Andre so I hope he plays.

Speaking of TV, FSD has added 5 games to the preseason schedule. They dropped the Minnesota game in Winnipeg. Perhaps BDL, CJ, Drath or someone else close to Manitoba could stop by the game and give us a recap.

    Today Toronto 7:30 p.m. FSD
Friday at Toronto 7 p.m. FSD
Saturday at Milwaukee 8:30 p.m. FSD
    Tuesday Orlando 7:30 p.m. FSD
    Oct. 18 at Miami 7:30 p.m. FSD
    Oct. 20 Charlotte 7:30 p.m. FSD
Oct. 24 vs. Minnesota in Winnipeg, Manitoba 8 p.m. None
    Oct. 26 Atlanta 7:30 p.m. None

Winnipeg, Manitoba? Was that the fall back plan if they couldn't find a place to play on the Moon?

Actually, it's supposed to be a great venue. The courts are almost ready.

Nothing says "The NBA is FANtastic" like a preseason game between the Pistons & T-Wolves from Winnipeg Manitoba!

The citizens of Winnipeg will be lobbying for a new franchise once they get a glimpse of rookie Rodney Stuckey crashing to the bucket or read some Tweets from Charlie V praising the new fan base.

Who wouldn't come back for more after seeing The Joggernaught slam through the paling and out into the forest and what's the odds of there being any snow left on the branches on the tree in the background after a couple of his drives and a few Drummond free throws?

    Great seeing you around, Lee.

The first quarter was awesome. The Pistons put up 37 points. Knight and Stuckey were relentless pushing the ball up the floor at every opportunity. In the 1st half, I thought Monroe, Drummond, Jerebko, and even CV all looked pretty good. It's nice to have multiple bigs that can make a positive impact.

I liked Maggette way more than Prince, but Tay has not been one of my favorites for the last 5 years or so. It's 56-53 at halftime.

Good win as Drummond loooked good out there with 12 pts , 7 boards , 2 blocks and 2 steals...of course most that positive verve was against Amir Johnson...
But he did get the winning bucket on a tip back so his NBA preseason gets off on a high note.

Moose did his thang as usual with another double-double, but Charlie garbage missed all five of his 3 balls. JJ looked

The goal was to just play 10 players, but Frank put Singler in there in the latter part of the 4th qtr, so 11 played

Stat of the game....Raptors 11-26 from beyond the arc......Pistons 0-13
