Pistons sign center Harrellson to two-year deal | NBA.com
The American Guy.
Billups/ Pope/ Datome/ Villanueva/ Jorts
Pretty nice 3-point shooting bench lineup.
Not sure why, but I like this guy. TAG.
I'm amazed at how uninteresting this news is.
I agree. The 15th man on the roster usually can make or break a team. Perhaps he will throw out the first pitch at the Tigers game this afternoon.
Shouldn't we call him The Canadian Guy to be accurate?
I can confirm that Jorts are still a thing in northern Alberta and Saskatchewan.
It gives us enough hacks to make a complete alternative starting lineup in the Rotations thread for one.
Those things are huge out on the plains of Eastern Colorado.
Me and my wife are big mullet hunters and you can score some sizable bonus points if you snap a mullet wearing jorts.
Hop on a plane to Sydney, and go to either south western Sydney, or a trip over the Blue Mountains. Or pretty much the whole of Queensland. You will run out of camera, more common than things that want to kill you...
This joke is really inside now.

I'm not going to ask what Jorts are because then you would know I'm out of the loop.
The 6-foot-10, 275-pound Harrellson was drafted by New Orleans out of Kentucky in the second round in 2011, then traded that night to the New York Knicks. Harrellson averaged 4.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 14.6 minutes as a rookie and played in four playoff games during the 2012 playoffs with the Knicks.
Either that or you're wearing them. Jorts are jean shorts.
so was I; but I somehow couldn't help posting it. Had to think about Harrellson googling himself and realizing that pf.com does not even have a thread on his signing could breake that poor guy.
But in all seriousness; he seems legit. 3 pt hread, quite strong, decent rebounder. It could be worse although I have to admit that I was hoping for some Amir Johnson-type player that can give you tons of energy in limited minutes.
I'm just glad that we didn't get some boring old guy.
At least Jorts has the energy to play blocko in practice.
Unless it was me.
Let's be real here. If the Pistons signed one of us instead of Jorts, it might make a difference of up to 1 win on the season (through the effect of not being as good of a practice dummy or something).
Hopefully he's a good locker room presence. Seems like he has a sense of humor.
Separate names with a comma.
