He's a great defender. Only gives up 95.2 pp48 while on the court. Afflalo is the best on our team at 95.4 and we play at a much slower pace (89 possessions vs. 94 for Dallas). He's been on the NBA's 1st or 2nd all-defensive team 9 times in 13 years.

For the record, I never said/thought that.

I view "Young 50" as a guy that could have a bright future. I'm just not ready to join his HOF club yet like some people.

...He could be an all-star. (D-Wade)
...He could be a solid starter. (Derek Fisher)
...He could be a journeyman combo guard. (Flip Murray)

    I'm rooting for Rod.
But it's just too early to predict how he's gonna turn out.

Chauncey makes what, 6 times what Rodney makes?

So to be fair, divide Billups' stats by 4 to get an idea of the ROI. :)

When they did the fair salary analysis in 06-07, they rated Chauncey as the most underpaid in the NBA, only behind Lebron, Wade, and Tay. Lebron and Wade were on rookie contracts, so that isn't really a fair comparison.

His "fair" salary was $24M based on production. So, he's still probably underpaid by 50%, which the AI trade supports. $22M player for an $11M player.

If you use Stuckey's production, PER, +/-, and the other inputs that they used then, his fair salary comes out to $400K.

Gee TaS, don't let me ruffle your feathers! I'm just kidding around.

I find the Billups watching kinda interesting. I suppose I might even be a little guilty of it, if he went to a sexier team. It's not like any of us are going to cruise with our boys or show up to the playground with our Baby Blues on, right?

If I did, I'd look lamer than the Chris Anderson without tattoos + a knee brace.

Let us hope that Curry or someone mentors Bynum. He could be the real thing: fearless and has that European maturity.
