The Nugs play pretty dumb sometimes (a lot). CB played pretty poorly, passing up some obvious shots and drawing comparisons to AI on others. I guess it is not out of the realm that they can still win. LA looked fairly tough at times. Nene = Nono
I don't think anyone is beyond critique, but if I have to trust PJ who sees this guy every day, and some fans on the internet, I am going to go with PJ. Yes, he is just a coach. But he is not a Michael Curry.
Bad game from Billups. He wasn't driving at all or looking for his shot much. Only 1 free throw. Not sure why he didn't try to take control of the game more since his team was looking lost. One thing I noticed about this game on the whole was that there was an incredible number of missed shots in the paint. Over and over players got the ball in a crowd and went up with it, but didn't get a call or make the basket. I'll try to find the stats, but it seemed unusual.
LOL, Well when you put it that way . . . I'm not a masochist and i feel like not watching it is just better, and to be honest i'm not all that interested. The ORL/CLE games i watch all the through; bits and pieces of the other.
Normally, i'd be on board with that, but Jackson's inability to realize Derek Fisher sucks and his penchant to play mind games gives me pause.
Game 6 of the Western Conference is about to begin and I was thinking. If I were Kobe Bryan I would purposely throw this game and game 7th. Why? because he's been there and won three rings already. If he's any kind of a friend to Melo he would really want to think about his friend. Come on Bryan, if you're reading this please think about your friend for once. Phil Jackson doesn't need another ring and neither do you.
In my opinion, Kobe Bryant keeps having Shaq in his mind. He wants to prove he can win it all without him. Pau Gasol should come out in later years, and say Kobe couldn't win without him, but too bad Pau isn't that type of guy.
George Carl is Billups' new Flip Saunders. Where's JR Smith and Linas Kleiza? The team is not their shots and low on energy. I guess it'll be Lakers vs whoever for the Finals. I feel sorry for Billups.
Carmelo is on Amber Alert. The Lakers are firing on all cylinders. Too many players are playing well for the Nuggets to win. Nobody will beat the Lakers if they sustain what they are doing now. 22-7 in assist battle. Stick a fork in Denver, they are done.

If the Nuggets fail to comeback, then you have to wonder was it Billups or Flip who could not win game 6 of a conference finals???
I really truly don't understand the hype around Birdman. He's a sucky post defender who can block shots, and rebound. He's like a really really low rent version of Dennis Rodman.
The Lakers are clearly a better team though. And Carmelo seems to have gone into the witness protection program after Game 4. Don't forget GK. Billups is playing bad this game, but it's hardly the same IMO. That being said i'm breathing a sigh of relief they are going to lose this series. I love you CB, but not that much.
Now I have to sit around here for the next 6-7 days while the local LA media beat their chests as if they won the series.... Kobe getting it done with help better than Lebron did last night. Nuggets just didn't have it tonight...and the Lakers were on all night..if not for JR Smith, this would have been a blowout...oh yeah it was still a blowout...
