The Nuggets played those last 5 minutes as if they were behind, playing scrappy defense, hitting threes and dunking the ball.....you know all the things the Pistons didn't do.....
I watched the last quarter of the Jazz-Lakers game, and boy was I impressed with Millsap. The Jazz were down 22 point at one point and they closed it down to 6 with Boozer and Williams on the bench. Millsap scored 9 points straight during an 11-0 Utah run. I'd love to see Millsap in a Pistons jersey next year. In the end, they ran out of gas and the refs stepped in to make sure LA got the win (Sloan got ejected).
He's looking for $500 quadrillion per year. He's obviously going to want to maximize his salary, but like Billups or Ben Wallace, will only get as much as there is competition for his services. The age of the $20 million player is done. At least $20 million in 2003 inflation adjusted #s (cue TaShawn). Boozer might be able to get a 4 year $60 million dollar deal, but I hope it is not us that gives it to him.
Barkley and Kenny both said they wouldn't pay him because he's not a big difference maker and doesn't command double teams.
I've yet to see Chauncey do the move where he pretends to shoot hoping to draw a foul, doesn't get a call and has to throw something off the back board because he never was trying to score.
It was Rich Kamla and Steve Smith. They called the Trailblazer-Rockets tonight too and they didn't appear to even know what was going on in the game...the worst play-by-play announcing team ever....they both need stick to the NBA TV studio.
Not a surprise. Most of the western teams are on the down. Last season the western conference was whole alot better. Next year, the western conference will even be worse then this year. Eastern teams been rebuilding teams for most of the time western teams been dominating. Its changing now, the east is getting better. SAN Antonio need some changes. Finley, Bowen and Kurt thomas contributed nothing to help duncan/Parker. SAN Antonio was 2 man team.
Just proves its harder to make it to three conference finals in a row. Popovich is overrated anyways. He obviously failed his team this season.
I like humor just like everyone else, but they are really ridiculous. I had to mute the game last night. They seem like they have been let out of jail after spending 20 years.
I believe they are calling the games from the studio. They are not there. ESPN does this a lot with international games.
Umm you are probably right there...I didn't see it from the beginning and to tell you the thruth I never saw them either, just heard their voices..... I want that job..then I could just call the play by play from my home and get paid six figures..:nerd2:
