Given BillD's money and JoeD's prowess...and assuming anyone was up for grabs...who would you choose?

This is a no-brainer. Pop is the best coach in the Association.

That's who I voted for. Best coach in the league, IMO.

I would say Pop also, however if Dallas wins it all the "Little General`s" stock would go way up.

I would have to go with Pop as well. As far as coaches go in the Association right now, he's the cream of the crop and an easy choice.

Although he sure is getting his butt handed to him by the Little General right now. Of course, this has a lot more to do, at least IMO, that Dallas just seems to have the superior players. Or at least more of them.

Someone would be scared to write these, but I'm not.

Larry Brown. Maybe Jerry Sloan. Paul Westphal.

    I also like

Popovich, D'Antoni, Phil Jackson (as a coach, not as a Detroit Coach).

I voted for Avery Johnson for the Pistons of right now. They need someone to drill into their heads that they're messing up.

Flip is good for a regular season coach but I see him choking up in the playoffs now.

LB is good for training camp, when highly intensive training is needed.

Avery all the way. The little general can kick some ass and will hold players accountable. Pop seems to be losing the respect of his players, they are pretty lazy and slack off almost as bad as the pistons.

I threw Skiles into the pole to see which Sparty would bite...and you out-did me! :frusty:

Honestly, I would take Skiles or Izzo over Flip in a heartbeat! Hell...I'd take Van Jeremy over Flip right now!

I refuse to officially 'vote' in my own poles anymore...I think Avery is the coach of the future.

    Right now...:hurt: ...I miss LB!

My write in candidate is Linwood. I could use the money. Plus, I believe I would bring a fresh perspective, and hire excellent staff (including hallway coach).

I'd change my vote for you, but I heard your "dream job" was to coach the Seattle Supersonics. Are you pulling a Larry Brown on us?

Today I wish we had LB, but our guys can't take another full season of the Tiny Tyrant. But I know fo' dang sure he or nobody else would put in Mo and leave Dyess on the pine. Hopefully the last loss was the sacrificial loss that was needed to get the attention of this team. But this one pass and shoot a jumper offense while getting beat on the boards and the paint does not suit me at all.

:ohwell: Can't break rank right now. I kept Flipper. Lets's hope JD isn't waiting till the series goes 2-3 to make Flip see the light.

Yeah...by the time I realized my misspell it was too late to edit. I knew I could count on you to give me crap about it! :caked: And, true-to-form, you did it with your never-ending flair for the obscene
