I was thinking of the All Time Piston team lineup for Tuesday (as goofy as they're gonna make this) and as I prepare my all time Piston team I wondered who'd get the lodest, longest ovation?

    In this order, I call:

    1. Dennis Rodman
    2. Isiah
    3. Bill Laimbeer

Rodman ws the hardest working player I have ever seen on the court. Before he became 'Ms Denise', no one was more respected for his work ethic. Even with the Bulls, he gave them a solid presence to do Jordan's dirty work. I believe the fans will go crazy for the one and only 'Worm"!

    My All time team...

Isiah, Dumars, Rodman, Wallace (Ben), Laimbeer

3 on 5 for offense.... but Ben on the bad boys would have been setting some mean picks and getting junk points from the drive and dumps..

On defense.... do you really want to try to score any points vs them? lol

I'm guessing they announce Joe last and he gets the loudest ovation cuz he's Piston red-white&blue still today, wears more Piston championship rings than anyone else, and he's very respected by the Detroit community.

Dave Bing ranks right up there with Joe on my list, but I'm guessing a lot of fans in attendance at the Palace now are too young to remember him as a player and might not be aware of his efforts to give back to the city.

Isiah will be the #2 ovation after Joe. Forgetting the teal age, his fiery competitiveness set the tone for Joe and the Pistons as we know them today. IMO the 'Going to Work' ad campaign was built on what Zeke started.

Laimbeer might get #3. Detroit is the only city that loves him as intensely as every other city on the planet HATES him. Forgetting the way his employees were screwed-over when his packaging company folded (:D), the Piston broadcast table and his success with the Shock have endeared him to current Piston fans. Sorry about your childhood memory Roscoe ;)

Tough call. Very tough. I would guess probably Isiah will get the most.

    Anyone going to the game?

Joe D. No doubt. EVERYONE knows him as a Piston fan of all ages. My first memory is Dave Bing at Cobo Arena.
