There is currently a lot of talk about the future of the Pistons, trade scenarios, etc. If Joe D. pulled the trigger on a trade today and you read about it on the ESPN ticker, what Piston name would you hate to see listed? List your top 3 that you would hate to see traded (#1 falls into the untouchable category). For me, it would be: 1. Andre Drummond 2. Brandon Knight 3. Greg Monroe (although I could probably say good bye to him with the right deal)
If Andre Drummond is traded in the next 24 months, I am closing this forum and never watching another game again. Just sayin'...
Don't go to far to the extreme there boss... maybe change us to a bacon fan page or something... but not allowed to shut us down :D
I'll give two answers.... My Brain says Drummond, Knight, and Monroe My Heart says Drummond, Knight, and Prince I know Prince needs to go for the team... but I still will miss him. On that topic. I think Dumars did the right thing keeping a vet to lead a new generation of Pistons. I think though you have to keep one of the leaders of the team to do that, not the glue guy. Hindsight is so 20/20 but Billiups is the one that should still be here teaching the team how to win and close out games.
Of course, he is an unoffical face of the franchise right now...he represents current situation better than Austin Daye...
Traded for a player of equal trade value or just traded for anyone? Because I'd obviously love to see Davis for Drummond or Durant for Monroe. With equal trade value I think English, JJ and Singler. English because he doesn't really have any trade value and I like having him on the roster. JJ because he's a bit of a fan favorite (and a swede!) and he wouldn't bring back anything more than a 2nd round pick. Singler, I wouldn't want to break up the JJ-Singler pairing.
Drummond is the most exciting, promising player the Pistons have had in the last 20 years. I can't believe you would trade him for Baron Davis.
