    No sacred cows.

I think that raxer was alluding to the fact that virtually any deal for the Bucket of Turd would mean that we'd be receiving a BARREL of Turd in return.

Last time I checked, Joe isn't a member of the Jedi order.

Yeah, add Chaz to my list. His trade value is so far into the negative and atleast he brings the LOL:s.

    1- Monroe
    2- Drummond

Of course, I want Knight and Singler to develop in this league, but if (imagination: ON) Chris Paul or Rajon Rondo wants to sign here for 5 years and all we have to do is giving up Knight, Singler and a 1st round.. I'll do it in a blink.

I would be kind of upset to watch Knight and Singler leave but I'll be happy to see an all-star to come here.
    It depends on the trade.

Notice how the same teams suck year after year. Washington, Sac, Clev... are all back on the bottom of the standings ( with us ) .

What concerns me is our roster is made up of almost entirely our own draft picks. Nothing wrong with that if you happen to find a superstar or two - Otherwise you are just continuously developing players. Think of all the time and effort wasted on Daye or the fact that JJ and Stuckey never really seem to come around.

This looks like a team that does not make too many trades over fear or whatever. Can't get good unless you are willing to take a few risks. I would definetly not trade Drummond or Monroe as good frontcourt guys are so hard to find - at least not until we see what we have, but everyone else ( incl Knight ) is up for negotiation.

You don't win on just draft picks. It doesn't happen. You need the right surrounding pieces. You need to build a team.

Until Dumars realises that, we will be stuck here

Dumars' hands are tied with the whole Davidson thing and the team going up for sale and then selling and then getting to the know the new owner who pushed a new coach on him and stuff. When he gets freed up to work his magic, look out.

The Pistons haven't had the most "tradable" contracts to work with.
Maybe this is what Stuckey was referring to when he made that "best team in the NBA on paper" comment a little while back.

The Pistons may not dominate the hardcourt but they are still undefeated on paper.
