I don't believe we are in the coaching mix until Kuester is officially gone. All other talk is speculation. Keeping Kuester on the payroll just means that we aren't serious about looking or our hands are still tied waiting for direction from the new owner. If we were serious, we would have beaten the Rockets to the punch in firing the coach.

After transition, our GM will unnecessarily be Joe my man, so it ain't graceful to make any personnel movement from team president and down now.

How ironic that we would be pursuing LeBron James' former head coach immediately after our hiring of LeBron James' former "offensive coordinator" was followed by two years of abject failure as a franchise. :messer:

I'm not a fan of the Brown....but that sort of reads like hiring Mike is in opposition to a coach that would put us in contention during the next 2-3 years.

Did anyone around here call Monty Williams' great year in NO?

Tenured coaches come with baggage, and sometimes it's 8 heads in a duffel bag without the Joe Pesci one liners to keep us going for the next 90 minutes.

Speaking of jokes.....it was quite a knee slapper to hear Gregg Popovich practically quote Flipper after halftime of one of the recent playoff games.....he said the Spurs needed to play better defense, and they needed to make shots if they planned on winning.

Pistons fans raked Saunders over the coals for saying that, insinuating that those words alone helped to prove how ignorant he was.

I seriously hope no one is seeing Brown as an upgrade when 2 years ago Q was viewed by so many as the brains of that operation in CLE.

If we're going to think about Brown we might as well consider offering a sincere apology to Cola and hoping Cuban wants a coaching change.

Cola is pretty good at making decent looking sculptures out of crap.
It seems to me that the inability to do this has been the biggest weakness of the last two guys we've had in here.

Leave Brown in the ESPN studio....May as well go after Adelman before someone else signs him like the Warriors. At least he has gotten two different teams to the WCF in the Blazers and Kings.

He's taken over teams that were good to great...except for the Warriors. He didn't do much with them during his short stay. Just don't know if he's the answer for our talent depleted team...

After saying that...he's probably the best candidate out there...:noidea:

We need a coach with a proven record of rebuilding a team into a winner.

Right now we need Laimbeer. He has the toughness and the mindset to control the personalities that our team has. Not only that his coaching method coexists with our players (assuming that we have the same roster of course),
