I think the players we have now would win mainly because of Arroyo getting taken by Chauncey and Rip every time.

I agree, the present would win. The old ones only have two guys that have offense, James and Okur while the present Pistons would have al the mismatches.

Edit: removed rambling drunken entry riddled with spelling and grammar errors.

Final score: 77-67, Gone. R. Wallace commented that both teams had played hard, while Flip Saunders said it was an unfortunate but philosophically reassuring loss, but "at least it didn't go to overtime; I'm running late for my 4:00 tee time as it is." Larry Brown was fined $200,000 by the NBA for comments regarding the officiating.

    I guess you are...
77-67 here. Ogor and Mili and BBen would abuse the paint. But CB, Rip and Tay would rule the perimeter. LB would keep it close.

88-82 Present. Mike James talked a lot of game before the matchup but spent most of the time chasing rip off of screens. It was a guard clinic as billups and hamilton got consistent open looks. The Goners made a comeback when LB switched james onto billups but Tay and rip shared ball handling duties and exposed Arroyo's defense.

Big ben showed why he was the DPOY by manhandling Tay AND sheed alternatively but was equally posterized because both Milicic and Okur were often out of position.

However, the Presents balanced attack outlasted Mike James and Sheed managed to get interested long enough to shut Okur down when it counted.

Highlights of the game was Flip getting a technical for trying to play Evans.

Great topic Brother :yo:. The Pistons's gone team is good, and a lot has been made of the gone team for the Wizards, but nobody could be feeling the pain of the Magic fans. Here's their gone team:

    G: Chauncey Billups
    G: Corey Maggette
    F: Tracy McGrady
    F: Ben Wallace
    C: Shaquille O'Neal

Bench: Steve Francis, Chris Webber (never suited up)

Am I missing anyone who can still play?

Add Drew Gooden, Mike Miller, Earl Boykins, Steven Hunter, Cuttino Mobley, and Zaza Pachulia.

WoW! I guess Penny was done.
Mike James 10 in the 1,2,and 3th Qs. but only 5 in the forth. Ran out of gas. Mili was double teched for swinging on BBen. BBen ducked and walked away. The Brawl, you know.

If I remember it correctly, Ben actually tried to shove Darko with both hands but missed. Apparently those who said his physical skills are in decline were right after all.

My bad, Darko and BBen are on the same team. It was Sheed and BBen that got into it, fighting over a rebound.
