I'm not apologizing to you guys. To TaS and lpgrl.

People like whoever they like and I shouldn't rain on their parade.

You said yourself that this was the third time you've read Chauncey :crying:about his former number. So, it is something that he is holding onto. His obsession with the number has nothing to do with whether he was a team player. It has to do with the fact that if he had won another championship with a team that many people believe should have, he would still be wearing his #1.

His regret is that he doesn't have a certain number? How about the answer being "A.I., so I could have another chance to win a championship with a team that I believed could." No, it's all about #1.

I know, I know, he was just joking. :lie: But, the truth is often told in a joke.

Personally, I can't take anything seriously from a person that is so irrational about this trade and those involved, except for Chauncey, that every little thing becomes a slam and insult even in the face of what is obvious.

I would be Ray Charles. Then I wouldn't have to see this thread about Chauncey. :gaah: When I saw 42 posts. :D I was hoping for creativity, or at least humor. :nerner:

I would want to be Fatima Wallace. Try to talk to Sheed and get him to go down low more often.

On this board? Yes. On others? No. I don't think i'm in a small minority at all, but that's irrelevant anyway.

My statement about people admitting or that he was important etc was more to the fact that i don't understand why Chauncey or saying anything positive about him here has become the equivalent of being a Celtics fans. It's irritating how some (and i'm not directing this at anyone specifically) feel the need to crucify him just b/c he's not on the team anymore.

You're right. People like who they like. And we've had this argument 20 times anyway so i'm not going to try not to have it again.

Do you need one of those bridges in pool? Your arm must be tired from all that reaching.

    -------------

I'm not even going to bother. Go ahead and slam Chauncey, me, etc. You need something to make you feel better about AI's performance with this team.

I know I'm late on this one but I would be Pete Maravich. He was the man. Whenever you score 50 and 60 points without a 3pt line, your the truth on the court.
