Sorry, I don't know how to do a poll and I wasn't sure what forum to place this thread in. But it seemed an interesting question.

Me...I would pick the Wings. (Boo-hiss on Darth):spy:. It's not because I like the Wings better...I don't. The Pistons are my favorite. But I figure the Pistons will still easily win their series if tied at two games apiece. The Wings need a win tonight or it's curtains. :rip::rip::rip:.

For a second I thought we'd hit a new low in polls - would we rather see the Pistons win, or the Bucks?

Anyway, I don't care as much about the Wings. They've gotten a couple of championships recently, their owner's a chump and the current cast isn't that lovable in the wake of last year's stoppage.

I messed up. The Wings definitely need the win more, they're facing elimination!!!
If they wanted the Pistons could toy with these guys for 7 games.

I would have to go with the Wings, obviously. I cannot let this team get eliminated, especially in the first round. We went through this pain :frusty: a few years ago with the Mighty Anaheim Duckies and that kind of humiliation does not go away overnight.
Additionally, I could easily see the Pistons, if need be, win 2 straight games and take this Bucks series. But I don't see this happening.....BOTH Detroit teams will prevail tonight!! I'm quite confident!!
    GO WINGS!!
    GO PISTONS!!

    Redwingsforum.com was taken. LOL.

To be honest this is the most I have followed the Wings online. I'm really caught up on this two championship city concept (WNBA doesn't count). Enough to root against (my) home cities that I've lived in.

Let's go out tonight and get two wins! If the Tigers are playing, make that 3!

The Pistons, so this god-awful Milwaukee series can be over and done with.

No hockey is good hockey, so I hope the Wings lose.

Wait how could the pistons be winning this poll? i don't really give about hockey, but the question said which team needs a win more, and when a team is facing elimination it needs a win way more than a team that is facing a much more inferior opponent and is up 2-1 in the series.

Redwings. This would take it to game 7 at the joe. Pistons can drop this game and still win easily in 6.

I want Stevie to go out with a bang, like Jerome Bettis. There isn't a better way.

    LOL.
I think Capricorn is an Earth sign. I'm the stubborn old goat.:D

It's interesting how many people on a Pistons forum picked the Red Wings. The vote was almost split. I guess it shows two things:

    (1) Even some of the most devoted Pistons fans would sacrifice one Pistons victory in order to keep the hopes alive for a double championship in Detroit.

(2)Some fans are so devoted to the Pistons that they wouldn't risk even a single loss to their beloved team... even if the loss would probably only slightly decrease the teams chances of bringing home the ship.

I just hope we get at least one win between these two road games tonight. Saturday sucked, but a repeat would indeed be a very bitter pill to swallow.

    Two wins would be :rapture:

    Someone had to say it!

Actually I don't really follow the Wings much but do have to hear about them all the time on local Sports talk. Its been 90% Wings and 10% Pistons.

I picked the Pistons. Of course, it was a no-brainer this Tuesday morning, since the Wings are out.

Jamm, shouldn't you be saulking about your Habs somewhere?
The Wings gave Detroit the only respect the City got during the sad late '90s. While the Tons, Gers, and %%%%%Lions where taking it up the azz and in the mouth from every other team/city in the states.
Finally we had some serious manhood.
