Who's better, Justin Verlander or Calvin Johnson?

Well...let's see. Rascoe has a big lead in Fantasy Baseball, but his competition is the likes of Darth Tater and BillLaimbeer so we can't include him yet. Jimmer is sitting on the bench and was replaced by somebody else as a starter, but certainly still could break out..so let's hold off on anointing him for this title. Charles Oakley has lost 50 pounds on some fad diet..........or is that Charles Barkley.......forget him also.

According to Forbes magazine, I should just pick Calvin cause he has a bigger financial portfolio.
Awards wise, I'd go with Verlander cause winning the Cy Young and the MVP in the same season.
Just can't compare Calvin to that level yet, until he wins. He may be at an NFL best level now, but he's gotta win some hardware.

Megatron is pretty dang impressive but JV has an MVP so I gotta lean his way.

Thanks for including Charles Oakley in this poll. I voted for him due to the fact that he's one of my all-time favorite players and possibly my favorite non-Piston ever.

If you put Oakley on this current Pistons roster, then they would probably be a playoff team. I always loved watching Oakley and Mahorn bang. Oakley was a seriously bad dude, but even he didn't want any part of Rick.

I love JV, but I'm going with Calvin simply based on position. Megatron can dominate EVERY single Lions game, but JV can only dominate every 5th Tigers game.

Now, I find that he's a finalist for the "MADDEN 13" cover.
I hold the Madden cover in the same esteem as the MLB MVP award.

Yesterday I saw Megatron set a new ESPN record of catching 16 footballs and holding on to all of them at once....(no You Tube upload validation yet), so he gets my un-documented vote until JV gets 5 wins under his belt this season.....
