Dunkin Darvin Ham. The last I read He was playing in the Phillippines.
Kobe. you can read his name on the jersey:P
I believe he was recently spotted on a 2006 Summer League Team.
yeah, he was, I think it was Orlando and he was talking about helping with his experience. So long ago Darvin played for this team that I even can't remember him... gotta love his hustle
Darvin seemed to be one of those players brought in because he had a good game against the home team. He came in with Milwaukee a couple of years ago and had a really good game. Next summer he was in a U-Haul heading east. It seems like that happens a lot. But I wonder how much impact it really has. It's usually a bench player who has a career night against someone and ends up moving there.
I remember him jacking up one crazy 3pt shot against us while he was falling down to the ground- and it hit nothing but net. Looking at that picture again I wonder he was allowed to defend Kobe in the finals???
Dunkin' Darvin I never knew he made the cover of SI in college. Great picture of the aftermath of shattering a backboard. Wikipedia article on Darvin Ham.
Wow, what a great pic!

Michael Curry's younger brother?
Man that music reminds me of my Nephew. My sister in law has dual citizenship with France and the US. And when ever the baby would start crying, and wouldn't stop, they'd play this really annoying Fench Techno music, REALLY loud. And the kid would be asleep like instantly. It really sucked when my wife baby-sat. I'm going to tease the hell out of him for that when he gets older.
Niiiiiiiice! I miss Dunkin Darvin's energy off the bench.
who gave him that nickname?
I think I read somewhere recently that he got it in college. Right around the time he shattered that backboard. Could be making that up though. But I'm sure Micro will come and save the day with a link on the origins shortly! (No pressure )
Oh yeah, thats it. I knew I read it somewhere that someone gave it to him at some time. :P
did he retire or would he come back???What is he doing?I last saw him on NBATV broadband and he talked about the Pistons during the playoffs but don't know what he is doing now
He is doing some TV stuff. He played some time last season in the Phillipeans(?). And he was on the Orlando Magic's summer league team. Haven't heard if he got an invite to training camp or not.
