Daye is straight Garbage. He is gonna have no trade value.. Stucky another bad choice, 23 million. Knight, why does he not pass and have the confidence he can make it to the hoop.! Charlie V. 45 million, Gordan 54? Can you imagine how they feel, I give them credit for even playing. Moral has to be so low. I'm sad for what they used to be. Lawrence Frank in a joke. He is as bad as Curry, how many starters are you gonna switch up.. No ball movement? Already a 11 point deficit. And George Blaha Count that baby cause it's foul.....! I bet Michigan Wolverines could smoke them..

I like that. This could be the new team slogan.

    Detroit Pistons.....where losses are wins.

Who says that Joe Dumars makes good choices?

Virtually everyone at the Detroit Popcorn Factory, that's who.

What about the halftime shows? They have been a lot better this year.

Dumars makes great choices. The other day he chose a 44 oz coke to go with his x-large popcorn. If he got the 32 oz coke, he might have been parched at the end of the popcorn. It all about assets!

I believe Brap still has some faith in JD but other than that I can't recall anyone praising many JD basketball related decisions lately.

Guys like Brap are good to have around. I totally disagree with what he's selling, but he adds to the flavor of us fans.

Didn't Joe move the team away from the teal uniforms?

I actually think that Joe's a pretty solid GM. He doesn't always make the best decisions, but his reasoning is usually pretty solid. I know that a lot of guys around here aren't big fans of the Stuckey/Prince signings, and I understand that, but I also understand why Joe would do it.

I like Stuckey as a 3rd guard. Some people don't. He's been one of our top three players this year. I know that's not saying much, but it's still true. I'm not expecting Knight to be Derrick Rose, but if he can be a young Rajon Rondo, then I like him going forward. I'm still waiting for our future off-guard, but Stuck can fill in for now and then become the leader of our second unit, which is really the role that he's qualified for. Monroe is the perfect "other big man". He will pretty much compliment any other high-flyer.

I would rather see Prince play 30 minutes of decent basketball, even with the "Isotayshawns", when I give up hours of my day to watch this team, then see a parade of D-league hacks stink up my TV on any given night.

Joe's far from perfect, but he's one of the top ten GMs in the league.

Add me to the Pro Joe camp :P I have some serious hard questions I'd love to ask him about some of the moves in the last 5 years and what his blueprint was as he started the overhaul with the trade of Leader and PG. I think he did have a plan and that was thrown to the wind with the death of our owner and the sale that followed.

His draft picks have been Solid really since the Darko mess, and lets be honest.... what GM wouldn't have taken Darko 2, if James hadn't come out that year and Cleveland didn't have the number 1 pick, he could have even been talked about as the number 1...

His present plan is known to very few and nobody on this forum, so none of us are really in a position to be really subjective on what he is doing... lots of moves are head scratchers, but in time they might still be good moves. You can't judge in present time IMO.

Mind you if were looking this bad in 12 months, then its time for Gores to pull the trigger, but I want the kids to have a real off season and Joe to have a season and off season to make some moves.

    I like Joe.
I want to see him redeem himself for everything that's happened since 2008 (a little earlier perhaps).

Another thought, if you'll forgive me...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again another way- It's not the players that we have that are the problem, it's the players that we don't have.

You can say it's Joe's fault for not acquiring better players, and that's a valid criticism, but I do believe that we have some nice pieces going forward. We have a GAPING hole at the 4/5. Both Ben and Tubby Max are nice 10-15 minute guys, but they give you virtually nothing as regulars. The kid from Florida has always had a nice little jump hook, but very little else. JJ is a nice 10-15 minute option at the 4, if you want to go small. We need one other legit big man, and then after that, we can fill a hole with a nice role player.

A marquee wing is, obviously, needed.

What defined Joe's early success was trade acumen and free agent signings. Lately, he's done a good job in the draft. We just need to put all of those things together over the next year or two.
