Good looking out, Thee. Glad some people around here are willing to hold the new guy accountable. This forum has a long tradition of supporting 5th year rookies with their hands tied and poor bloodflow in their legs.

I'm excited about Tommy, but if he doesn't perform, I'm ready to run him out of town faster than the Old Paperboy turns on coaches.

Privately owned companies can still have shareholders. Those "partners" have share allocations in the firm.

I hope Gores wins a championship before Cuban does.

Interesting that Kuester may have to stick around just so Gores has to be the one who fires him and, pays his contract off. I would think that KD would make that one last gesture...[STRIKE]can the sucker[/STRIKE] say good bye to Kuester, and free Gores of that inevitible task...

I would also like to read any internal document by Gores, that comments on Joe Dumars. I imagine that his every move has been analyzed by Gores...and he's made his decision regarding JD and his future with the Pistons...

Yeah, maybe it's a good idea we warm up to Gores first. Before we go PF.com on him.
Perhaps we can adjust all his pictures so his head is on straight.

Could it be Karen, Mr. D's wife.

It could be if Kathy was short for Karen. :pound:

By the way, I think you missed my Debbie Downer reference in that other thread. Or did I just totally miss your reasoning for calling me Janice?

I got it later. SNL wasn't on my mind.
They should've done more of her.

I've never been so exited in my whole life.

    Okay, that's a lie.

I sure would love it if we can become a top team again. But I admit to a lot of skepticism over whether that's anything more than a pipedream. In the era where the very best players collude to play with each other, I see every OTHER team being perpetual Washington Generals or just slightly better. It's a league where franchises other than two or three will have no legitimate chance to complete. And I'm not holding my breath that the new CBA, when complete, will fix this.

My question then is why watch this team?

Why only two title banners? One from 1989, one from 2004.
