    Scott Perry's gone, who's next? - Detroit Pistons Insider - MLive.com

Pistons' top scout, draft coordinator departs

I don't know how much it will impact this draft, because probably most of the scouting was completed by the time he left. But going forward his loss will be felt.

That's an interesting subplot to this year's draft. Stuckey is Perry's fav according to some reports. nabbing wright over stuckey is where we might see that play out.

    That is interesting.

I wonder if the Piston's decision makers had a disagreement over Stuckey vs other guys with most of them being opposed to Stuckey, which helped push Perry out of the door.

Though to get the job he did I would think that he would have started the interview process long before draft time approached and any conflicts among Piston management arose as to whom they would pick.

The Hawks for a number of years including this year have had conflicts between ownership and management as to whom they should draft.

From what I read, Perry prepared everything for the Pistons for the draft. He left just recently, and I'm sure at that time Pistons already knew the mix and knew who they'd like to draft.

I don't think they pushed him out but i think the strongest supporter for stuckey over wright is in seattle trying to land a pick to get stuckey.

I've also read that Seattle is looking to trade into another pick in the lottery to grab Stuckey, either through Atlanta at 11 or someone else (i forget) between 11 and 15... He might sneak in and steal the guy we're sold on...

Fine they can have our #15 pick plus Nazir for their #2 pick. No problem. We will even throw in our second round pick.

If so, I hope it does so in a positive manner.

Our batting average has been pretty weak of late but we are hitting the cover off when we do get ahold of one (Amir, Tay, Max, Okur, Cardinal *Way Better than expected*)

I'm hoping we move Flip, #15, and one of our 8000 second rounders between 08 and 11 and move up.

Or Flip, #57, and/or one of our 8000 second rounders between 08 and 11 to move up in the second round

KFC has eliminated Trans fat, at least in Los Angeles. I can't wait for the Yum Yum caffeinated donuts.

    Believe that is nationwide.

At least that is what the glowing box in my living room keeps telling me.
