I have a heard time thinking about this .

Now if iverson isn't back we have stuckey ready to take over the starting pg spot

Now if sheed isn't resigned what do joe do because we will need a big man and there will be a couple out there

    boozer
    okur
    wilcox
    d.lee
    odom
    marion

If sheed isn't resigned joe will have to go after someone because amir, max and kwame wont get the joe done

    Sheed will be re-signed.

Wilcox and Lee are not winner.

Odom and Marion are like Tayshaun, "half a star". Odom and Kobe couldn't win, Marion and Wade can't win, and Prince and SUPERSTAR probably couldn't win either. Odom and Marion are massively overpaid for their results.

I can't imagine why. He's never appeared to me to be a particularly motivated player.

He's probably worth around $10 million a year. I would pray he would sign for less, but who knows.

David Lee is a stud. I don't know if he is fit to be a PF/C though. He is a tweener and a bit undersized. I think he is far better player than Amir or Max. The guy just seems to just have a knack for rebounding the ball and being in the right place on offense.

You think Sheed is going to get out of bed everyday for $7 or 8 million?

You atleast have to give Sheed 9 to 10 million to start. Even with his lower production he is still more productive than most big men.

Rasheed won't be worth $10 million in two years.

Right now Joe should consider himself lucky that he wasn't saddled with the contract he offered Ben.

Two years from now, Rip and Rasheed are in no way going to equal D Wade or Chris Bosh. I'm not too keen on them being paid like they do.

In fact, if Joe keeps teasing us with cap flexibility, only to take it away by extending our own guys on the downturn of their career for more money than they're worth, it might be time for Scott Perry to cart him off to the funny farm.

Yes I do. Unless someone is willing to overpay him, he would probably sign for that amount. As an aside, I would get in bed with sheed for way less than that.

But he might be worth $10 million next year. And the second year his contract is tradeable.

    TMI

I think it all depends on how we do this year. Will Sheed even want to come back, has he talked about retiring?

Sheed = Ben Wallace. Don't overpay Sheed on the downSLIDE of his career. 7 Million tops.

AI is a wait and see. I wouldn't sign him for more than 3 years though.
Even if he brings us a "Ship"...

Sheed is not Ben. Ben lives off of his hops, Sheed is more of a mental player . Joe needs to sign Sheed to a 3 year contract, he's definately has at least 2 years left, and in year 3 he can be traded or use his expiring contract.

Sign David Lee. I watch the cat play, and he is hands down the best non superstar free agent out there. My g-d, he dropped 37 and 21 last night. 37 and 21!!!!
