The technical foul calling is not applied evenly around the league. Living in L.A. I get to see a lot of Lakers and Clippers games, maybe too many LOL. In any case Kobe has rolled his eyes on calls and cried about them, but no T was assessed. The same with Phil Jackson. I think that Sheed is just at the head of the list and anyone on the Pistons who defends him is right there with him. It would have been interesting to see how Laimbeer and Zeke would have delt with this BS.
NBATV interviewed Stu Jackson tonight (heads up discipline)... he obviously defended the new rules, stating that techs are already down... said it was for the league image... said the rule is interpreted as any agressive move towards an official... whether vocal or manerisms He was asked about Superstars being tossed and favoritism... he said "if they get tossed so be it the rule is the same for everyone." He said that emotions weren't being taken out of the game there's still plenty of emotions being displayed He also defended the new ball saying he got it wet and it seemed fine.... said it was a superior product...yada yada So how does he feel about someone getting T'd for shouting and one?
