This is a happy thread.
Somewhat of a rarity these days.
4-3 Wings, Hossa just scored.
Hossa on the Power Play 5-3.
5-5, 'Jackets won't go away.
What the hell? Is Osgood sucking?
Bluejackets playing really good. Ozzy has been standing on his head as far as I could see.
Wings Sweep in the Happy Thread 6-5
They break the tie and score on a PP by Johan Franzen with 46.6 seconds left in the game.
Happy Happy Happy thread! If we can't get you one way, Detroit will do it in another.
I think they reshuffle seedings each round so that the best always plays the worst, right? So we could play almost anyone, but the Sharks I think. (Not sure).
Sorry...Wrong [STRIKE]thread [/STRIKE]one.
GO WINGS !!!
Red Wings beat Blue Jackets to sweep series - NHL - Yahoo! Sports
One Detroit team sweeps the first round and the other might get swept? What a [STRIKE]country [/STRIKE] city!!
Yeah...the reshuffle is weird. Ducks are up 3-1 in that series and will most likely be our next opponent. Lets hope the Sharks can take them to at least 6 games.
Yes it can only be the lowest REMAINING seed. NHL finally gets it right and we NEEDED a good test on the road.
GO LOVER BOYS!!!!! RAISE THE BEARD!
Detroit will play the Vancouver Canucks if the top-seeded San Jose Sharks rally to eliminate Anaheim. If the eighth-seeded Ducks hold off San Jose, Anaheim will face the Red Wings.
Red Wings 1st Cup champion to advance since '02 - NHL - Yahoo! Sports
both cannuckians and ducks are punching low scoring teams... Damn good goalies.
Holmström-Franzen-Cleary will show to ducks what part toothless Sharks were missing... or Blues...
this trio will be the key.
That totally should have been a penalty shot.
Lidstrom scores to make it 3-2 with 49 seconds left. Good, tough game.
