All of the media folks from ESPN to the NHL Network are calling it a bad call, but what can the NHL do now after the fact other than start game 4 with Wings up 1-0:sssh:

You stop this nonsense by winning by a larger than one goal margin.
We need a 4-1 victory in game 4 to set the tone. Stop playing around and let's get to work....:gun1:

I don't think the Red Wings are playing bad. I think Anaheim is a good team that is very physical. I don't think the Wings took them lightly, but have had a tad of bad luck and one horrendous call go against them.

I think if Anaheim wins game 4 the Wings will lose the series in 6 games.

I'll supply the mustard cause Anaheim is supplying the hot dogs. Do away with these clowns. The sooner the better...

The least they could do is to admit that the ref was out of position and blew the whistle too quickly. Admit the error. That's all we can ask for.

He did blow the whistle, right. Sport talk didn't say anything about after the play.

On the replays I saw, it seemed to me the whistle was clearly blown after the pick was in the net. Maybe I am wrong?

I really hope the Wings play great tonight.

    Wings tie it 1-1.

Needed that. Wings have looked STRONG since giving up the early goal.

    LETS GO RED WINGS.

When was the last time we had a guy who scored like that in big playoff games?

Wings up 4-2 at the end of 2....I still say with 20 mininutes to go, an insurance goal may be needed in the 3rd...

1 more goal will do it Dre as long as Osgood plays solid.

I'm really happy with the Wings effort. After last game, I wasn't sure we could win this series, but after seeing how well we are playing tonight, I know we can match the Ducks.

    He's fantastic.

I would love to have a player like the Duck's Corey Perry though. That guy works hard, plays tough and dirty and makes things happen.

Geez, Kopecky drops the gloves, and then won't even swing back, so he gets pummeled.
